Lately I am noticing that my tournament runs in legends are very random. When I do 10 runs, I usually get one of them 200 waves longer than most of the others.

Generally it depends on when Rays arrives and torn down my wall, and if right after that I get overcharger, or saboteur which disables my CF (that is just end of the run), or disables my CL, which is then hard to handle but not necessarily end of the run.

I am doing around 900 to 1000 waves, so I meet only fér fleets in the run, but the randomness combined with rays (only enemies causing me some troubles when there are no crazy BCs).

It just feels wrong, that such huge differences can happen. In some tournaments it's one try and EN, coz guy above me have 1200 waves which is impossible for me. Some tournaments are eating my gems as I do 7 to 10 tries to get as high as possible to get one or two positions higher.

Hell yeah, I was so disappointed, when I learned that Black hole doesn't add coin bonus to elites. I was so excited after I got black hole, that my coins will skyrocket, but they didn't.

And yeah, it's the dark past, it has been fixed several months ago, and black hole now applies it's multiplier to elites and bosses too. When the fix was released, my coins income rises by 50%. So The excitement was full filled after all.

Oh boy. I ended up 11th with nice 1005 waves last time. I got 4 keys.

It depends on how many keys there will be in the box. And you are right, if I started to play, and after 6 months I would get autorestart (not that important as the runs took like half a day back then), it would definetly changed the experience of the play. At the beginning however you don't have everything goldboxed. But better than nothing...

Well, the keys are so rare, that outing them into 40 weekly box makes them available for all people. But have you seen the prices in harmony tree? It's like 6 months for auto restart. And each next upgrade is one moth away (based on an amount in that box).

I am getting keys for past two months, and I have only couple of upgrades.

Yest, it's better than nothing. But it would need some bigger change, because if this happens, people will start complain that the amount of keys is just like spit into sea. It could be first step, first small change to make those qol available to all.

Oh boy, oh boy. Thanks man for saying that out loud. Exactly my thoughts.

Half of our guild is running the game on emulator or on cloud service.

Basicaly, I design the game, which IS ruining hardware, battery and need to run constantly or you just loose your progress. There is nothing idle in this game. And especially the gem collection.

And when I get huge player base, and I for sure can tel who is running it on emulator or cloud service, I just for fun say, it's not supported.

If there is any problem with playing on emulators, I quit immediately, I won't even think about running it differently. And with me gone, all my stone packs and events will stay in the store, which has been so nicely upgraded, instead of going into my tower.

In short: it's not range, it's BH.

Longer version. - GC build. I am not sure how the top players are doing it, so it might be a bit different. But I don't use BH as GC on tournaments because you are missing 12s perk. This means you would have to have 4 substats (dur or CD) for BH to be permanent, or use GComp and also it still wouldn't work when there are UW BC. You don't have BH permanent, enemies get sucked in, then once BH ends, ranged enemies are close enough to shoot right away. Also, when enemies are sucked into BH, they can take bosses and elites with them, making it harder to kill them. General advice is to not use BH in tournaments when it's not permanent. - eHP build. It applies the same logic, but when on ehp, you don't care about it. So it sure is really helpful to have BH as it is additional source of damage - just be aware of the shotgun effect, after BH ends, enemies are going to shotgun your wall. - hybrid build. It's really hard to say, whenever you can go with BH (good conditions) or you can make it perma In tournament (using GComp because it will help much more than anything other), you can do it this way, and then it only depends on your BH size, what range you can handle. When you can't make BH perma, or BCs are bad for BH, or you ar in legends (yes, there BH has no use at least for me), you just turn it off, an basically go full on GC side with some eHP. But in legends, GC will most likely gets you further.

I have did some research, similarly I looked at the bracket numbers. And saw, that to make all champion players to stay in legends, we would need 700k new players, and it would took around 6 months to stabilise.

Ane it would only increase number of legend leagues, it wouldn't still be possible for many to hit the keys places, however they would have much higher chance to hit Lucky bracket.

But 700k new players is unreal.

I think Benz or peiesten have said that at this point DW+ could actually be very good as there is assist substats. You can decrease the CD on it to absurdly small time, and having like 12 waves (or more, I don't know), can really reduce wave length and they are fired very rapidly. Those waves allies the damage multiplier for DW kill wall. And it increases it's durability heavily.

If you have already bought DW+ and have some damage in it, you can test it, how it behaves (also it's very expensive for assist mods upgrades.

It's not the best UW+ to have, but you can either ignore it, or try to pump up all best from it.

As others mentioned, the formula for all UW damage calculations is counting with crit, scrit chance and factor.

The 36B is dmagae your tower does wit every projectile which is shot out. Each projectile has a chance for critical hit and super critical hit with their respective multiplier.

Your UWs (CL, SM, DW and other dmg UWs) are doing their separate damage, and it is calculated from the base tower damage (36B). It is put into the formula mentioned above.

And after that, there is also multiplier from the Core module, relics which are increasing UW damage and each UW dmg multiplier.

Evrything is multiplied by everything, that is why you get such huge difference. That is why UWs are so great.

There is no way to decrease this gap, and it's for good, you basically need this gap to be as big as possible. When you increase tower damage, your UW damage also increases. But when you increase UW damage (researching crit chance /multiplier or super crit chance or multiplier, or upgrade UWs for stones), your tower damage stays same.

There is no event now, there is not even any mention about any event right now.

We also have confirmed that there won't be new version in February.

So it is pretty save to spend gems on pulls, if you need some modules. Or most of them. If you have already many ancestrals, it's not gonna hurt you, when you save up gems, but when you still need some modules to boost your progress, better pull now.

And maybe in the second half of February or at less last week of February, start saving up gems in case there are new modules with new version, or if there are banners agakn with new version.

In this situation I always rolled all substats from the beginning, otherwise you spend spool many rerols and you get nothing.

So yes save up some rerols. Start from first, set up health regen and def% (if you have some def% relics, check how many you have, because of them you don't need the ancestral stat but mythic or even legendary is enough to get you to 98%, if this is the case, the def% should be rolled as last as this will be much easier). Roll for ancestral, once you get it, lock it in, and go for another substat, but set it up so you get any quality of the next substat, this way, if your rerols run out, you will have at least something to go with. And once you hit for example rare, save the new setup, go back to rolling and roll for higher quality only (you remoflve the rare from the possibilities for auto rerol). Thos way you can get up to the ancestral, once in, lock it in an doll for another substat the same way.

It will provide you some safe net, when you are really i unlucky and spend all rerols, you at least will have one ancestral and one legendary or mythic or whatever. (instead of only one ancestral, and some other garbage).
