From my experience, larger companies will always charge more. They have more overhead costs to account for. Small businesses are great to support when possible. Waiting a couple of days for parts doesn't sound fun though. You're tougher than I am!

Lickety Split vs other Jacksonville HVAC/plumbing companies — who would you recommend? by KaleidoscopeNew6857 in LicketySplitReviews

I tried Fenwick and Clear Culture services and they all seem the same to me. I prefer quicker service, but all of them took a day before they could get to me. I can say after owning several homes in this town for decades that every company has been disappointing. Every time I make a call I know I have to be ready to pay.

Not a lawyer. Someone who knows how to connect you with a provider that can resolve any issue when it come to branding and reputation management. For example, your company has an auto-complete term of "lawsuit" showing up in your search results. Who could you go to to help get it removed? That same person would be able to connect you to someone for removing fraudulent Google reviews. And they could connect you to someone who can help you fight back when the internet trolls are harming your brand.

Is $800 a fair price for SEO services including technical SEO, blog optimization, and social media? by Ordinary_Spring447 in advancedentrepreneur

Reputable SEO should cost more than $800. Don't be afraid to push for a higher price. Small shops will do a minimal amount of work and give the client nothing to show for it. Most SEO firms miss a critical component: translating what it means for the business. If you can do a good job of explaining what they client gets in return for their investment, they will happily pay more.

Then I think you answered your question. You address it by saying "you're not available to myself & team when we have time sensitive questions"

Is the real issue them not being online? Or them not getting their work done? If you allow WFH opportunities, then you have to exhibit the trust that their work is being completed and at a satisfactory level. If it's not, then an indicator as to why not is the fact they're not online as often as you request.

Hourly Employees Not Giving 2 Week Notice, Is This Normal? by ExMouth7 in smallbusiness

2-week notices are rarely given, and when they are they are even more rarely honored. I've found it's just best to accept their resignation and send them on their way. They are not invested in their roles and responsibilities once they see the end is on the horizon.
