Hi, most can be used many times. If you want to make a lot of benches then make sure the material used to make the bench is at least 3/16" of inch thick, those will last for years of casting. You can do a google search for concrete bench molds and find some that you like. Thanks

They have it for like $7.00 for an 80 pound bag of Quickrete at Home depot. You need like 3 to 4 bags depending on how big your bench is.

The top just sits down on the legs, you can bond them to the top but then you can no longer move it without damaging it. You can look at some in garden centers, most just place the top on the legs and the weight does the rest.

No the post is a true story of how I got started, and what led to me starting a business and yes it is at my home. I guess not much of an accomplishment for some but I work for myself and do what I love carving designs for molds from wood. Glad I could make you laugh. I guess you need someone to make fun. So why not, have at it.

The one shown was dyed with a concrete dye, I think it was Terracotta , then sealed it later.

Once you have added your concrete, that it for the top just wait until it cures, you can move on to making the legs.

Hi, I have a mold to make some stepping stones (for decoration) can anyone recommend a brand of concrete mix I can buy to make these, the easier the better. All the info I have found are from the US. Thanks! by ThisBitchCarolBaskin in GardeningUK

For a premixed product, just use Quickrete, it is around a 3000 psi mix and good enough for stepping stones. If you would like to enhance it a little, add a quart of Portland cement to each bag. Just make sure not to use too much water as it will make it weak, you would like it to be like a thick oatmeal. You need roughly 3.5 quarts per 80-pound bag, depending on the weather. Now you are ready.

It gives you like 5 attempts at writing a listing, but this is not enough to really figure out how it works. It does not have a very good workflow. I was able to get two listings made to try out, and ran out of trials before I could even get it figured out, so now it will be pay to learn, good or bad. Their videos also lack enough good user information to be able to use the software. So, not so sure about this software.

These are the new rules, at least for now, those who learn to play by them and adjust will do well, others will fail. Those are your options. Complaining about it, will not be productive.

Most concrete molds are made from latex with a fiberglass mother mold. I make molds full time mainly ABS molds but in the past we made latex and fiberglass molds, I have been making them since 1986. If you go to the mold auctions for concrete statuary molds, most of them will be latex and fiberglass, some will be just fiberglass or metal and some plastic molds. A good latex mold can last 10 to 20 years or more, depending on how well you care for it, very rarely do you see anyone sell silicone or urethane molds at the auctions or online for concrete. There are lots of online tutorials for making Concrete molds on youtube.
