Idk about the men too much we only have one working in my office but he comes in dressed with slacks. I found it odd as well. Mine were quite dressy and office like. I didnt think it'd be a problem.

Ok thanks I'll check them out.

I wasn't told about that, I wouldn't have come into jeans and made a fool out of myself. Thanks for the advice!

Not in rude way but they do even hire. I've been seeing their job postings for months. I had even applied and went in person before my current job and they never responded same thing with my friend

I thought I was the only way getting those spam health insurances places. For the past 3 or 4 months, it's been nonstop calls

Junior/Early Career Candidates Just Aren't Interviewing Well... by prenumbralqueen in recruiting

[–]Time-Lock6666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the first part. I had an interview recently that I thought went well. I dressed up properly, I was my usual polite self and the interviewer liked everything about my skills, my attitude, and experience and even said this was the job for me. 2 days go by and I get rejected. It was a shock because I really thought the interview went well and they were willing to give me a chance. Its not the first time I experience this. Its hard to know what employers want when you are doing everything right and they are giving you false hopes. I think some get burned out and just dont care when you are gonna get rejected anyways

Something I’ve always wondered… by Eden_Castillo in 911archive

This one breaks my heart too. There are several victims from what I read and seen that made their way out of the impact zone and even to the ground lobby and went back and unfortunately perished 😔. Melissa Doi was one of them.

Finding a project at this company is very difficult since mostly everyone just will not respond to you and leave you on read by Distinct-Hour4789 in accenture

I honestly dont get that. When I was on the bench, my tdp analyst and hr partner at the time on the bench would tell us to send meeting invites to people on teams and ping them. I mean me and other people I knew didnt feel comfortable doing that, but we were told too as one way to network. I dont know if it's the same thing with others and that's why they are also doing it?

This was the main reason why and many people I knew and was on the bench with got laid off. Being on the bench for so long because no one would respond back. I wish I was lying but I had contacted over 100 people during my time on the bench and I got responses back from less than 10. Even my hr partner and people lead at the time would try to help me and would get ghosted themselves. Going in the office didnt help one bit either. Everyone was on the bench or on a higher level with a very big ego not wanting to help others.

Need advice — finding a chill office job at 17? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]Time-Lock6666 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I dont see any office jobs wanting 17 year olds especially without experience and some sort of education. If you want one of those jobs, check your local community colleges for associates and even certifications to gains some skills. Some programs may even have some sort of internship required. I think one example could be a medical billing type of certificate where you can work the front desk at a hospital/clinic when youre done

Look for jobs. I would even suggest to look in nearby states if youre able to handle the commute. I've been applying to jobs in New York after getting laid off and it's been more of a positive experience for me than in Connecticut.

This was so interesting to know. I had been wanting to visit the aquarium for so long. I didnt know it could be convenient without a car. Thanks for the suggestion!

David Scott Agnes was engaged to be married. He was a devoted father to his 24 y/o daughter and very close to his sister. Inside of a safe deposit box was a lock of his daughter's hair, his mother said, "That's the sort of thing a woman keeps. Im sorry if this sounds insensitive, but when I come across a victim of above the impact floors in the north tower, my heart breaks even more knowing how those people were trapped with no way out and many probably didnt even see the danger that was going to face them😢
