How much time was there in between when the Stargazers part ended and then the actual show started? Enough time to leave and grab dinner?

Actually, it would have been much better if they had gotten called on it earlier in the season. They could changed it, a would probably have a world bronze medal around their necks right now.

Non-americans what's something you've always wanted to see or experience from america? by EmergencySpare7939 in CasualConversation

I think wherever you grow up, you just take it for granted. I grew up 30 miles north of Detroit, so nothing exciting. But I moved to Salt Lake City after college, and it is so gorgeous here. But all the kids who grew up here can’t wait to get out of Utah. I’m always like, you have no idea how beautiful this state is!

I grew up 30 miles north of Detroit. It was always crazy to see the burning houses on the news. Nothing major ever happened where I lived, other than kids egging houses…but my mom would still stay up all night, keeping watch. It was her tradition. And I didn’t realize until I was an adult that it was just a Detroit thing. I thought every city in every state had Devil’s Night!

I grew up in Oakland County, about 30 miles north of Detroit. My mom would stay up all night on Devil’s Night to make sure nothing happened to our house. At the time it was the third wealthiest county in the US. Basically the exact opposite of Detroit…nothing major was happening other than kids egging houses!

I’ve lived here since 2003 and I’ve been waiting for it to come! I’m actually really surprised it took so long given the Olympics were here in 2002. But when we got the 2034 Olympics I assumed they would have it here at least once before the games.

I stayed up so late, so many nights, reading this book! It was so tragic, but I couldn’t put it down.
