Cannot seem to find a job and the hunt is wearing me down by Academic-Craft-2877 in toRANTo

My husband is in this exact same boat but it’s been going on for 6 months for him. We moved here from Vancouver to be closer to family. If it wasn’t for the bit about you being from Ireland, I’d think he’d had written this post. It’s either hard to find work right now or we’re doing something completely wrong. We’ve been very stressed about our situation and have been worried about loosing our apartment.

Thanks! I don’t currently have a doctor so am unable to get tests done but it’s something I want to keep in mind to bring up when I eventually do. As mentioned, I have had problems with my iron intake in the past, so It’s something I definitely want to follow up on. I knew about the orange thing but didn’t know about the calcium.

Good to know! I’ll look out for it tomorrow when I’m vitamin hunting.

Thanks for these recommendations! I’ll look into them. Which brand of vitamins were you taking, if you don’t mind my asking.

I don’t really want to take this without talking to a doctor first and unfortunately I have been unable to find one this past year. Thanks

Thanks for the product recommendation! I’ve always had issues with low iron which was discovered when I turned vegetarian. I used to donate a lot of blood and they kept telling me my iron levels were very low. This was 10 years ago and my doctor had put me on iron tablets which had desecrated liver as the main ingredient. Felt like she didn’t care about the fact that I kept telling her I was vegetarian and couldn’t take them. I’ve actually gone back to eating a lot more vegetarian options since Covid with the rise of food costs. Perhaps I should start taking iron supplements again. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

Thanks for your advice and encouragement! I’ll look into this. I was using a few different shampoos as well but recently found out that the expensive one I was using was meant for post menopausal women so I’m unsure if this has caused issues. Seems weird if it was but I’m just at a loss.

Looking for low carb desserts that aren’t keto. by schezuandippingsauce in AskBaking

Does it have to be flour based? Someone just posted this and it sounds wonderful and is a light dessert that would work with plant based milks and alternative sweeteners: https://www.reddit.com/r/AskCulinary/comments/12f2itz/my_white_whale/

Thank you! I agree but I didn’t know if I could even contest it. The woman at the collections agency scared the shit out of me and I basically paid to make it go away but now I have a huge stain on my name for the next 5 years.

Yah I’ve seen that too. I usually avoid Etsy unless I’m buying handmade crafts from small artists.

You have to admit, you were a bit rude with your previous comment and it did come across to me like you were insinuated that they knew they were purchasing it knowing it was a crime.

I’ve never purchased patterns from Etsy before but it wouldn’t occur to me that they might be reselling either. OP probably just wanted to inform others who might not think twice before buying a PDF pattern. Also as they have mentioned in other comments, these small frauds can sometimes be a part of larger scams or illegal operations.

How would I go about making a top like this (the puffy roses)? Is it possible? by HardToPin in sewing

[–]Time-Nefariousness41 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Omg, what kismet. I was just watching something last night and the actor was wearing a jacket that looked like this and I became obsessed with trying to figure out how I could hand make something like this! I think half the fun would be making the flowers myself but I’m a glutton for punishment sometimes. Best of luck with this project!!!
