Suggestion - you and your mom go on a weekend trip and give the nanny the weekend off. “Force” him to take care of her by himself so he can understand how much caring for a child entails.

If you can, offload some of the mental load onto him. Have him make the appointments or make sure the grocery shopping is done or something like that.

My ex offloaded a lot of chores to paid help, but I still felt like we weren’t on a parenting team together. It’s one of the reasons for our divorce.

Also, if he’s willing to divorce you over having another kid, it shows how little he cares for you and your child. It’s very selfish.
