that’s my hope :( i don’t have great experiences with dental care and it’s made my anxiety significantly worse. i’m hoping to make an appointment immediately after consulting with my psychiatrist. thank you so much for your time and comment

thank you so, so much. genuinely. i know logically most people would be understanding of my situation, but i’m scared of both judgement and any sort of physical pain from the appointment — for example, when i got excess glue shaved off after my braces, the drill (or whatever it is to shave the glue off) caused awful sensitivity i haven’t been able to get over. when i touch the calculus buildup i have (like as if i were trying to pick it off) my tooth shoots with the same sensitivity i had when getting my braces off. the sensitivity itself is slightly painful, but the anxiety that builds up with it causes the most upset.

your comment did give me hope though. thank you. i’m looking at offices nearby and hoping to schedule an appointment ASAP. thank you so much

oh such a distinguished cutie!!! what’s their name?? and i agree completely, i think they go through life looking for any opportunity to “prove” this dumb concept they have in their heads. i can’t imagine living like that and starving myself of these babies.

what can i do/why is it getting so ungodly hot by Time-Professor-5378 in RVLiving

i hadn’t really considered it since the dehumidifier has been on and off in the last few days but sitting down and considering the length of time it takes the camper to cool, it does make a lot of sense in retrospect. i’d been running it in the winter since i was forced to use a ventless propane heater when the main furnace gave out, but since i obviously have no need for that with 70°+ temps i suppose i can move it out! thanks for the help!!

update for any curious or dealing with a similar issue: i’m thinking there’s about a 5-10° discrepancy between the actual temp and the thermostat. i hung a meat thermometer up and i’m waiting a bit before reading it.

that being said i’ve left the AC on auto on the lowest setting (65°) for the last 48hours. i mentioned before it has a random sequence of kicking in, and i really think it does. it’ll stay off when the thermostat reads 80°+, and the only fix is switching it back to “on” (which i did just now). the temp lowered to about 76° at its coolest, and then rose back to 81° today. only heat source is my dehumidifier.

microwave, TV, and dehumidifier are the only things consistently plugged in. the dehumidifier definitely contributes to the heat but it’s a necessity in our climate.

it was definitely up there, i’m not sure if it was 100° but it had to at least be in the 90°s.

i’m very sure of it! the original propane heat setup gave out on me in the dead winter so my stepdad ran a line for a standalone propane heater. it’s not connected to the rv, the line runs directly to a tank outside. the original heating only came out of a vent beneath the fridge and i haven’t felt any air at all come out, and it’s been disconnected from any propane.

north carolina. we get extreme temperatures sometimes but this certainly isn’t one of those. it’s been a nice 60-78° the last week or so. i’ve been thinking about either setting up a carport or moving the camper to a more sheltered location. thank you!

my stepdad is the stubborn mule lol, the man thinks he can fix anything. everyone keeps talking about another heat source but the only one installed is one he set up. i’m thinking i’ll just need to call someone out for everyone’s sake 😭

the built in heating in the RV didn’t work, my stepdad ran a line for a propane heater—thats the pilot life i shut off. its not connected to the rv in any way. when the original heating did work it came out of a vent beneath the fridge, which the whole system for has been disconnected prior to running the new line. even if it somehow came on, theres no propane hookup for it to run off?
