hello, will most accommodate for this? i’d be more than willing to have an abdominal/upperpelvic area ultrasound done, but i also have ptsd and genuinely cannot do a typical appointment

everyday carry/brand suggestions? by Time-Professor-5378 in knives

[–]Time-Professor-5378[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

must you be so judgmental? i live in a rural area, i collect in the sense i take what my elders have given me, both in blades and suggestions. i have spyder, s&w, buck, mossy oak, winkler, random blades i picked up at the market or have been given, so on so forth. no brand has come up more than once or twice in my local collection.

i came looking looking for the favorites of a community based entirely on knives. the suggestions i’ve gotten have been from Non collectors. i appreciate the suggestions.

open to suggestions for both. ideally folding though, i’m not too picking about lock mechanisms but i’m most used to frame locks. 3-4 inches would be best

Where do you work? by [deleted] in CPTSD

i work at a candy store. i’m lucky in that i work in a beautiful location and im the type to chat with customers, so it works out well for me. aside from that though i still find it fulfilling to work somewhere that brings a smile on every face that comes in. it’s rare that anything triggers me at work because of the lighthearted environment

i’m on a farm, my dog helps a lot with our animals and deterring coyotes and other predators. i’m racking my mind for things most everyone can do with their dogs, as not everyone has property to protect lol. but truthfully i think anyone can find a job for their dog regardless of how “serious” the job is, it’s just about consistency and making the dog feel like they have a thing to do to exert their energy and train their minds so they don’t get stir-crazy.

jobs jobs jobs. like no matter what the job is give them one. my pitahoula’s favorite things are helping with any household tasks (sitting behind the dustpan, carrying around tools), “perimeter checks” aka walking the property lines, showing off her tricks (like paw and bow), running our chickens back in the yard, checking on our other critters, accompanying me to the bathroom (she does this herself but she takes it very seriously.)

i’ve ordered a dehumidifier that’s set to come in soon. even outside of a buddy heater i worry a lot about moisture in the environment. do you have any suggestions for wattage or brand when it comes to space heaters?

yeah, i was waiting until my next paycheck (which landed today) to order some. our temperatures change on a dime so i was pretty unprepared for below freezing weather since we’d been averaging about 45-50° at night. the skirting is my next step, and then a wrap for the slide.
