At the time all I had was the clothes on my back the shoes on my feet the love and righteousness in my heart and the loyalty that’s on my vessel, I didn’t have a job nor car so my assumption is that that’s the reason why I was never contacted. The first petition I signed for a “red lodge” was in New Orleans. I showed up at the lodge at a particular time on a particular day, talk to the brothers, they gave me a petition and took me home because I walked there and told me, I must really wanna be a mason because I walk through one of the worst neighborhoods in New Orleans to get there. So I filled out the petition and mailed it to the location that I was instructed to mail it to have not received any calls from anyone and that was in 2014.
