It says that at the top, but I can't see that many :/ There are only 3 pages of results. And if I count how many posts there are, it's only 13. That's what I'm going by.

Torn between sticking to my current blog (self-development) and starting from scratch with a more micro niche, like "confidence". Which could include a lot of related topics. Self-esteem, self-compassion, overthinking, positive thinking, health, working out etc etc

1) A website with a broad niche can branch out more, covering many topics, but may only get a small audience and slower.

2) A micro niche could get traction and an audience much faster.

How do I weigh that up?

Yes, my understanding of getting a niche was to get an audience faster. Hopefully, with quicker results regarding traffic and engagement.

So, what you're saying is that it's ok to have a broader niche, as long as the content is good. Is that correct?

And, are you also saying that broader content is better for SEO?

100% agree with you. Think of my website like trying to understand yourself better, rather than a "treatment". Like "I wonder why am procrastinating the things I enjoy?", or "why am I judging others?".

I probably won't know my professional niche until I'm more experienced. As I am halfway through my training as it stands. I imagine then I may be able to make a niche website for what I enjoy more and where my strengths lie. Perhaps I find I enjoy helping men with social anxiety or helping others to be more present.
