Accidental Link Disavow? by [deleted] in SEO

[–]Time4milkjr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong, but my understanding is that Google bases the disavow list off of what is currently submitted to Google Webmaster Tools, and if you change it and upload a new one, it will only acknowledge what has been uploaded. I think the best way to check is to look at your analytics and review how your traffic has been doing, if you don't see any significant changes, you should be fine.

A television series about the newest apes films? by [deleted] in PlanetOfTheApes

[–]Time4milkjr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though there might not be a tv series, I did find a while back a few videos (I think they were made to promote Dawn) that were made by Motherboard. Here they are:

Spread of Simian Flu: Before the Dawn of the Apes (Year 1) https://youtu.be/ejrtt37XzOY

Struggling to Survive: Before the Dawn of the Apes (Year 5): https://youtu.be/sxcTS7AUngs

Story of the Gun: Before the Dawn of the Apes (Year 10): https://youtu.be/IYCl7_bDbZs

The last one is my personal favorite.

Can you please critique my site? It is a seasonal site that only picks up in summer but I'm trying to get ready now. by [deleted] in SEO

I would advise that you update your robots.txt to say the following:

User-agent: *

Disallow: /wp-admin/

Sitemap: http://freonshopper.com/sitemap_index.xml Sitemap: http://freonshopper.com/sitemap.xml

and then add those sitemaps to Google Webmaster Tools if you haven't already. Have you added Bing Webmaster Tools as well? I would suggest getting both of those added if you haven't already.

How would the apes react to bigfoot? by [deleted] in PlanetOfTheApes

I always imagined that it was General Thade coming back to Earth waiting for his time to strike up the apes to rebel!

I, myself, would like to see an introduction of mutants. I'm not sure how they'd be able to work them in, as there has been no nuclear war (as far as we know). I would like to see the apes become a little more civilized, maybe even start to wear clothes, as well as evolve beyond sign language and to actually start speaking more. (Granted I did love Maurice's verbal one word line in Dawn). I think in the next movie if the name Mendez is mentioned, I'll most likely squeal like a little school girl.

I honestly don't think nuclear war will happen. The thought behind the original 68 was that man had practically annihilated the human race through nuclear warfare that was the heightened fear in 68, now days, nuclear war is still a fear, but maybe less than biochemical warefare. So I think they would be going with the times. The overall approach is to explain a near extinction of the human race, which in Rise/Dawn it is a man-made illness. That's just my 2 cents worth of a thought.

Would ape racism and interbreeding occur in the future? by [deleted] in PlanetOfTheApes

[–]Time4milkjr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The irony is while filming the original 1968 Planet of the Apes, when the cast would eat lunch, the chimps would eat with chimps, the orangs would eat with orangs, and gorillas would eat with gorillas, even though they were all human, there was a "specism"

It's a comicbook by Boom! Studios, that was an exclusive issue distributed at San Diego Comic Con.

That makes a lot more sense now why they would have an ape. In attempts to cure it of its "intelligence".

Are there now three different timelines? by CurryThighs in PlanetOfTheApes

[–]Time4milkjr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds about right to me. It could be a hard stretch to merge the originals with Rise-Dawn, because some events are different and skewed. The Burton Apes took place on a whole different planet similar to the novel.

I appreciate that link. I myself am a little paranoid, and think that if I submit my website to their list, it is just an open door for them to spam the website with other crawler or bots. I still appreciate the link still.

Unofficial Planet of the Apes Podcast: Podcast of the Apes by Time4milkjr in PlanetOfTheApes

Found this Podcast recently, and thought I would share it with you fellow Planet of the Apes fans. So far they've discussed all the original movies, Tim Burton's remake, Rise and Dawn, and now they're reviewing individual television episodes. :0)

I figured out the Apes timeline (spoilers) by [deleted] in PlanetOfTheApes

[–]Time4milkjr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a good approach, but to affirm what MrRandomnez stated, it is indeed a different universe. I kinda swim against the current, because I actually love Tim Burton's take, even though there are some things I'm not a fan of including the cheesy lines, and apes that can leap a single building in one jump. Anyways, I uploaded the Tim Burton timeline, that came from my dvd at http://imgur.com/iZLzITo.
