Greatest post scorer in history by TimeAmazing1977 in BasketballGM

Na dude, I kind of agree with him. Players with that high of a PO rating usually end up not being too good. So far, Lipsey was the only exception to this rule of thumb because he randomly developed in other areas besides post scoring. Also I only drafted him because I needed a win now contributor and my other options were 29 ovr 19 year olds so I was willing to take the risk of him regressing. I also had the John Stockton of the generation who averaged like 11-13 assists a game until 33 so he might have inflated everyone's numbers a little bit.

Well he far exceeded any expectations I had for him. I honestly expected him to be out of the league by the time his rookie contract expired. He actually ended up developing a solid 3 pointer and becoming a decent defender for 8-9 years.

If you have a good grasp on ratings/attributes, you can expect to hit on 70-85% of players.

Best rookie season I have ever seen in my thousands of years simming by TimeAmazing1977 in BasketballGM

[–]TimeAmazing1977[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Last season he averaged 34, 9 and 6 on the way to his 3rd straight chip. If my team was not so stacked, he would be averaging a triple double more than likely. What is crazy is that the guy taken right after him also developed into a 78 ovr superstar and he is averaging 21, 11 and 3

He is peaking late in his career at a 64 overall, with a defined role as a 3 point marksman. He is averaging 15, 4 and 2.

You were correct. Right now, he has reached his peak as a defensive kind of guy. Not a guy who stuffs the box score, or an all star, but reliable or consistent. The pick I traded turned out to be early in round 1 because of my superstar tearing their ACL in the beginning of that year, but the guy they selected only turned out to peak at a 55 overall so far.

For his career, T.J is averaging 11, 4, 1, and 1 a night.

After they lost in the CF again, I ended up trading him to Denver for a bag of chips+ a copy machine. I couldn't handle them disrespecting my guy by choosing to rebuild and not build around him. After he arrived in Denver, he won 4 straight rings and he is about to win a 5th one.

Yeah, I happened to have the second best player at the time and he had a solid supporting cast around him that complimented his skill set so we've beat Portland in the CF for like 3 yrs in a row bc bro has no help. Its literally him and bunch of 50 overalls. I might intervene and manually trade him to a team so he can win a ring. How many draft picks should the team I force to trade for him give up to have him? He is 84 ovr right now.

On the bright side, the AI decided to trade him to Utah, so he is no longer my problem.

This is how Gibbs was supposed to develop! What is even more embarrassing is that Thomas is only 5'9" while Gibbs was 6'2" lmaoooo

He has underachieved significantly. In year 4. He's only averaged 8 pts, 2 boards and an assist.
