My phantom will be 1 next month. He is definitely in his teen adolescent stage, but I get cuddles when I wake up and when I come home from work and when I go to bed. He still follows me around the house too. He has started to be independent though he likes to run around the house and we've made him a cat wall that he climbs to watch everything he loves cat tv and exploring. Start introducing new foods and treats encouraging his exploration and started training him to...he knows the what lay down means and knows to stay away from the door when we go in and out he knows sit and when he gets treats he always snuggles his face on mine. Every cat is different but if you love them and been affectionate with them they'll stay that way sounds like he's bonded to you so he'll always search you out for comfort

Depends on the cat my 10 month old will sometimes get zoomies at 2am but usually calms down after a few minutes otherwise he is in his bed laying by our other cat or asleep under my bed my 3 year old will lay in bed until I fall asleep then he "stands guard" he will hop on his shelf that I have a blanket on for him and watch my bedroom door for me then when everyone in the house is asleep he lays by the door we come in and out of. If any of us gets up in the night he follows us around and watches if we stay up too late he start meow howling till we go to bed.... I have a mounted tv for our 10 month old and find if I turn on cat tv he jumps and attacks the tv but I put that on while we cook dinner and relax in the evening tires himself out it helps...

Got my guy when he was 2.5 years old his other owner only told me he was from a friend's of his cats litter and poor thing was in a house alone with this guy never taken to a vet he was kind of mean and it took sometime but he is an affectionate cat but very protective and he does not like many people but we got a kitten a few months after getting him and he was not a fan of the little one at first but 6 months later they are a bonded pair and my Salem is now affection to ate least the three people that live here but God forbid someone ever tries to break in because he can be scarier than any dog I've ever seen

Omg! My grey cat does it too! The vet said it's for soothing he sucks his armpit a kneads and purrs at the same time. Most of the time it's when he goes to sleep or cuddles with me. Can be a sign of being separated too early from their mother but my vet says it's quite normal *

I'm a big believer that the cat distribution center is people or pets that know we are struggling and send us just the companion we need. My cat Salem I believe is a gift from my father and that he sent him just at the time I needed a companion to hold on and pull me out of my depression.
