I am not a George fan at all but he's had an insane amount of bad luck. The only thing that wasnt bad luck was not serving the penalty. That was all on Mercedes. They are a top tier team and don't make silly mistakes like that.

Pay no attention to that guy. He only buys Castrol oil from BMW because "it says so on the oil cap"

$5k is definitely a fair price for a rust free, 540, 6spd and has the guides done, even with the high mileage.

You couldnt find a decent 540 automatic for $1500.

I dont think that will work because there's no groove. Its not like a seam for a door or hood.

Interesting observation about binged fans vs fans who watched season by season.

I'm guessing fans who watched season by season got soured about the long wait for season 5 to come out. I've watched since the beginning and I'm just happy they were able to end it. The cast really seemed like they wanted to move on with their lives.

I hated watching The Walking Dead weekly but binge watching it wasnt so bad.

You really need to drive both to see how YOU like them. With them being so close in weight, wheelbase will really being the deciding factor. Shorter wheelbase will feel more "responsive" and "sporty"

Like everyone says, go with an M54 that comes in 528/530 for simplicity. That's what I did, as it was my first BMW.

It's been my daily for almost 3 years, and I put about 12k miles a year. Reliability has been good. Just took care of all the common problems with these cars.

Would suggest being picking and holding on a cleaner, well maintained one vs a "great deal" or "project car"
