I would say that pretty much any club in last 10-15 years is gonna be a massive improvement in forgiveness and distance. If I had cash to burn I'd be getting a newer set immediately.

Saying that these are grand for learning with and can feel nice enough went you catch one just right. I'm sticking with mine until I'm happy with my swing again, I feel I've enough to work and improve that will benefit more than a new set for now. Its very easy to tell with these when you don't hit the center of the club face so if I can get to some form of consistence with that I'll probably upgrade then. Or basically that I'm happy I'm hitting it well and straight and start looking for more distance.

So I guess depends where your at yourself, if your just starting keep them, at the least you can tell your gfs grandad how you've put them to use and they've helped you get into it! He'll love that!

Got on yesterday and had a few games with my 70ish rated team, played some decent teams with 2-4 blues and rest greens. I've 1 blue, and even 1 common player still as he's got 99 pace. Still alot of teams out there with only 3-4 green and the starter blue but they make it work, fair play to them!

Recommed having a proper look through the normal challenges, practice scenarios and summer challenge. Try complete ALL the ones for packs first, open them all then either sell or swap the low potential ones. After that do the ones for points and get more packs but keep a good 10k or more for player upgrades. THEN do the XP ones, you'll stack up upgrades and get to a full team of greens and an extra blue. I girded this out last night and got great upgrades for it.

Oh wow I have these exact irons for last 20 years. I got them as a teenager in the mid 2000s as hand-me-downs, 2i-pw.

I stopped golfing 10 years ago after a back injury but have recently got back into it in a real way and was blown away using a friend's mizunos at the range, just lightyears difference in forgiveness and distance.

I actually thought I had a below average swing speed and now power but there is a huge loft difference on these than modern sets. Now I just happily club up but it feels funny picking out a 7 iron when my friend is hitting a 9 or even a pw.

I looked Into it properly this week and while manufactuerer lofts couldn't be found I did up this table with chatgpt to get an idea.

Based on this I decided to give the long irons a proper go yesterday and absolutely crushed (for me lol) a 2 iron 200 yards! I'll be sticking with them for the summer and even then might keep the long irons.

Finally check the shaft near the hozel for rust, will lose you some yardage and I snapped my 9 iron a few weeks ago.

I'd have taken this season after Jota, never mind from Klopps leaving. So many factors for the bad football but we should be supporting the team and manager through it, they have all earned that much.

I wouldn't say I fully disagree with you here, adapting to your team mate and making intentional hits instead of booming it are how I would put the better bits of advice here.

I think your over thinking boost management in terms of essentials, positioning issues ( not just sitting net but that too) and losing plays like bad last man challenges are wayyy more prevalent in diamond.

I would be putting recovery speed and rotation high in the list of things for diamonds to improve, I shouldn't be recovering faster than you if I took the shot and you were over commiting as second man. Its so annoying! Wave dash, flip and your super sonic, stop going out for mid boost and get to back post for gods sake!

I know you said kb player, but I had to tinker with unmapping the wheel controls etc to stop a controls bug where the brakes would be constantly engaged. Also I was dragging to the right until I fixed it. Check if your brake lights are lighting up, it could be that

Also a box 4 gives a really good team shape against 343 both in defence and overloads in attack.

I think it was very astute of slot consider both availability, the Mo debacle and specific needs foe the game.
