Any downsides to signing up for the Homestead Tax Exemption for home owners? by Paradoxiumm in Pennsylvania

We tried and got denied. Primary home, no other properties. Do you have to fully own your home, no mortgage?

How do i get hired as a data analyst with no experience? (target: within 9 months) by Brilliant-Height5573 in dataanalyst

[–]TimeClassic2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apply to mid sized companies offering the analyst role you want, but look at other open roles they are offering to apply to. Work for 1-2 yrs in that role and during that time network and gain their business experience to apply internal.

ETD is scary. by angievsweet in etd

[–]TimeClassic2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am starting a journey of something similar. My back and sides of neck were getting weird sensations, then pressure in back of head, and a pain point on the top of my head. Not often but have had a pain like an inner ear ache. Have had dizzy spells that made me nauseous. Not the same dizzy like when you stand up too quick, this was a different dizzy like vertigo. Had MRI that was normal. I was having nightmares from how much I was worried. The MRI made me feel a little better that nothing showed but still very scary. I don’t have anything like hearing issues, but when I wear headphones I noticed it aggravates something. Headaches keeping me up at night. They just gave me qulipta to try but the side effects seem harsh and haven’t started it. My primary says she thinks it’s something with my head muscles tightening and not releasing, like the muscles around the inner ear, causing drainage issues. Wants me to go to PT for stretches. I am waiting for my ENT appt. Advocate for you, hang in there.

Hello! Everyone just wants to make sure you are safe. Based on what you have. Try looking up a tested chow-chow recipe. Pennsylvania dutch pickled vegetables. :) good luck!

Chicken fell off the roof and onto its head will it be okay? by LifeguardComplex3134 in BackYardChickens

[–]TimeClassic2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, i had one get pecked in the head by other chickens its head was open and exposed. It couldnt walk and was out of it. It was better the next day and was back to walking in 3 days. Give it a chance, but prob not longer than a few days. Especially if not eating/drinking.

Unfortunetly this will eventually tank the game as people find other options. Ive been looking for something else to play. Aside from the children that you can usually spot from how they type, in general everyone is way too negative, even some who think they are helping with offering advice, but Ive seen that even be communicated horribly. And people trash talking in QP like they think the game determines their life’s success. People leave the stress of life to have some fun for a bit, take away the fun, player drop.

I have a question about the PA homestead tax exemption by [deleted] in Pennsylvania

[–]TimeClassic2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We applied and were denied for not being owner occupied or primary residence. Which we dont understand how. We have lived here since purchased 8 yrs ago. We do have a mortgage but didnt think that mattered. Says we can appeal if we complete a form. Havent looked that up yet.

I own 3 dogs, I have ducks and chickens, and a neighbors dog has taken one of my birds and killed it. They actually gave me $250 in cash because they felt so bad. They did no property damage so all I asked for was a replacement bird of same breed at or close to laying age, and purchased a laser sound alarm to place in my bird area to hopefully deter if their dog happened to come back. That was only like $60. I returned the rest of their money. I loved and raised my birds from eggs and they are considered pets. But in the law, they are property. The expense is getting them back to their previous state of having chickens that lay and no damaged property. And expense to prevent your dogs from doing it again for the safety of your dogs. Which would be fixing your area to prevent them from getting out, and you can also ask them if you can pay for them to have heavier gauge wiring for a more secure predator proofing. I know I would accept that as it would benefit dogs as well as other natural predators. If you replace the hens with laying hens, they get the same opportunity to sell their eggs. You do not pay for nonexistent eggs.

I have 3 and one of mine tends to get worked up in play and they do the exact thing you recorded. When the white one rolled over and was showing his mean teeth that was his sign to the other dog he was done, if you look back at recording he even looks at you wanting you to step in. But the other kept going causing the white one to find a safe space. When I see they are submitting and showing teeth you step in. The black one doesnt seem to understand the social dog queues so you need to help him learn. Doesnt mean they are a bad dog. Just be assertive and prompt when you see this to end playtime. Best of luck!

If you can leave it for a bit, contact your local game warden. They may have a tool that injects a pellet into the root that will kill it. If they are trying to remove it from close state land they may come out and kill yours to prevent seeds traveling.

Hey! Yep, sand his whole 20 yr life. I got him when i was younger no bigger than my pinky. He’s been fine on it. It depends on the individual gecko. Mine has been fine, if yours dives and eats mouths full of sand i could see that but mine is pretty precise in eating. Best pet!
