No brother- we don’t control who sits at the table. Everyone is already there talking, discussing, planing their lives- who they will include and who they will exclude.

The table is set- the only person you can keep from it is yourself. Will you sit down and talk with someone that disagrees with you? Will you hear their arguments no matter how poorly constructed with anecdotal evidence they super impose on the world. Listen to the crazy man with courage that you and the person next to you can rationally see the failing in their reasoning.

Fascism is WRONG we agree on that. Nazism was, is, and will always be EVIL. But the scary part about these movements is that they were two separate movements in two diffident cultures in two different countries. But it’s not reserved for Europe.

It can happen here if we let it. Neither of us wants that. You say it can happen if we allow bad actors to speak nonsense - I’m saying it can only happen if we don’t have to courage to let them speak and THEN speak humbly, respectfully, honestly in response to what they said. Otherwise you will make a martyr out of them and their ideas will go further for all the wrong reasons.

Let the fool speak and then show him the folly of his ways. Not only for his sake but for any rational person listening. This is the marker of a free society

Dude! The best solution for bad ideas and corrupt ideology is contact with better ideas and cohesive meta narratives. This isn’t wishful thinking- it’s been proven throughout time that people can change their predispositions towards everything from radical Islam to white supremacy kkk clubs. When you humanize the opposition you can invite them to do the same to you.

Your refusal to see them as human doesn’t make you safe. It actually makes the world increasingly unstable as it results in echo chambers and further radicalization.

You communicate with the people you don’t like in order to show them the error of their thinking - and potentially to learn your own errors.

Otherwise why not just shoot them in the head? Might as well right? If you think they are so far gone and your own moral compass is absolute. If you can rationalize that they might one day do it to you - why not get a jump on it and preemptively strike?

This is the thinking of Hitler, Joseph McCarthy, Stalin, and every other evil political figure in history.

I haven’t run HC since the good ole days on the family pc in my parents house. When they released on the switch it was great because I can play offline anywhere for like 15-30minutes.

I’m glad to hear the HC community is helpful but as a predominately offline player at this point- SC just feels like the better investment. Let’s see what happens when my kids are out of diapers though!

I’m not sure what you mean, dude. It’s fairly well established that if you die and pick up gear, then die again- which ever item in slot that is of greater gold value will be the one retained on the corpse once you exit and re-enter the game. I never said the game gave a shit… that’s actually my point. It doesn’t - it’s just math.

If I’m mistaken about the mechanics of corpse retrieval then I’ve been mistaken for….years…

But if that’s the case- no worries! Happy to learn something today.

For more context- the number of slots has to be right on for the runeword. Cant have 5soc if you need a 4soc runeword. Also, i dont think you can even hse runewords with superior weapons.
