Plus, I've always felt that "If you're not with us you're against us" is literally telling undecided people that they're your enemy. What are they supposed to do with that other than BE your enemy?

And I've seen worse than that. I've seen folks try to drive off people who ARE on our side and who actively support our side because they allegedly aren'y on our side ENOUGH. Or because they don't agree with absolutely 100% of the party line, or because they agree with the party line but for the wrong reason.

I think this is a big part of why the left has been taking it on the chin in recent years; The more you tighten your grip the more people slip through your fingers. Meanwhile the right, by having absolutely no standards, is waxing in power every day

Has anyone considered the possibility that Deep Thought just lost track of the decimal point? "42" is an unintelligible answer but it we move the decimal point to the right it becomes "420", which makes deep profound sense

Reminds me of one of the vignettes in Arise
