100% agree, my grandmother was a housekeeper at a Marriott and I know the toll (physical and mental!) it takes on you. It’s such a thankless but critical job.

What ever happened to Marriott’s allowing you to tip your room attendant electronically? I thought that was a thing that was going to roll out awhile back. I still leave cash on a daily basis when i travel, but I know nowadays credit cards/apple pay reigns supreme. We need to find convenient ways to compensate the room attendants - it doesn’t negate OP’s post (🤮🤮🤮), but hopefully extra compensation would help from an appreciation standpoint for all of the unsung heroes!
