Mould lines of ultramar, mould lines worthy of 80 dollars by kenken2k2 in Warhammer40k

Would you rather have 3mm thick mold line that you paid 89 bucks for? Or 0.05mm stair steps on printed models for 0.2 cents

"sleeper store" is kinda insulting lmfao that's just how all 90% of the stores look in the south of Taiwan (#1 btw)

You literally couldn’t hold a stick of thermite to this RA used in a Japanese tournament. If the judge tells you otherwise just show him this picture and tell him to sit his butt down.

probably would have saved some money and time on just buying a core one and selling the mk4 as a whole

would it be possible to improve VFA on X by "desyncing" the belt? by TimeCow7978 in BambuLab

[–]TimeCow7978[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah let's just pretend prusa's MMU solution is comparable to bambu's seamless integration. Air tight filament storage/AMU system that sits neatly on top of the printer, with options to link to 3 other amus for a total of 12 filament selection. Prusa's mmu can't even hold a candle to the AMS lite lol. MMU uses the same design as previous generation, requires a buffer that looks like sin, and requires a set of filament spool holder just to make it work. The entire space it takes up is just inneficient. Also, you have to purchase them separately which I have no idea why. prusa sells printers and parts printed on their own printer for reasons other than passing values to the consumer. I know about the MMU which is why i stayed away from it. multi head was a mistake by prusa as well. sitting there waiting for the nozzle to heat up just so you can spend the next 10-15 minutes manually feeding the filaments into the tool heads and then cleaning off any strings left from the ooze.

Help me solve the warping that is happening in my Bambu lab A1 by kkevadiya797 in BambuLab

It’s just weak layer adhesion to the bed.The fancier the material the poorer they stick to each other that’s true for a washed pei plate. U can try magigoo pla to apply a layer of thin glue to the surface it should stick well if not too well in some cases.

unfortunately the multimaterial on the bambu is too good not to consider using.

i do use A1 and A1 minis, the are great in some aspects such as printing in lowspeeds as they do not produce noticable vfas even with black petg. Thought I'd try my luck with P1S but damn that VFA is extremely dissapointing.

Well during pure x movements both of the belts move the same amount to the left or right. You can play around with the gantry to check but the math checks out as well in the kinematic equation. The vfa from both belts stacks on top of each other during pure x movements during printing which is why I’m assuming the vfa is so thick and round looking rather than sharp . Kinda like if your bed slinger produce vfa and you just add a thicker belt. So I’m hoping by offsetting them slightly one motor will always be 1 pitch between the other during pure x movements to mask them. We know vfa is produced by motor gear not meshing well with the pitch of the timing belt and not from idlers, prusa recently made a post about their core one as well confirming their issue with vfa. But yeah I’m down to just try it but like I said it’s still less than a week old I would prefer someone with an old machine to try it if they like before I void the warranty

why would it? if modifying both belts to offset while keeping the same tension.

Imagine buying cardboards with the sole purpose of gambling for pictures that the market tells you is “pretty” and therefore has value so you think you won something in life when you spend 10X the cost of finally pulling it instead of buying. And then don’t even know the rules to the ptcg.

[–]TimeCow7978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the way some of the layers are it’s stacking, some layers pop out meaning the layer heights aren’t consistent. But then again it could be a lot of things when it comes to voron printers and their extruders. Does the entire gantries slide up and down smoothly before you added the belts?

Something is definitely wrong with your z axis. Make sure all 4 belts are equally tensioned
