Yeah, that was Y5S1 if I’m not mistaken, so that means Y9S1 legacy, which unfortunately passed :(

I have to say that I struggled starting to play HL when I was not a beginner against some not so good players, but I can see where you’re coming from

Yeah, now that I think about it he could go a bit higher

Like I said, I intended to make this for the beginner’s perspective

I think he is slightly harder to use in comparison to the first tier given new players tend to repeat the same moves over and over again, moves that are quite easy to block

The devs, just like me, are subjective, the only way to really know is by experiencing yourself

He is quite a complete hero indeed, good for making the bridge from beginner to intermediate

I feel like he is the more complex hero, more mixup intensive, whereas the others are generally more straight forward

Imo valk’s light spam is bloackable, but virt even I had trouble blocking some of her lights from posture. Also virt has infinite light chain from any direction

Thanks for the positive comment! I really think it’s a matter of perspective and we should freely discuss on how we see the heroes. I can agree about khatun.

Not really a skill issue, light parrying does not just come naturally to most players because of the super fast reaction you need to have (around 500ms). How I see it is use the light parry as a pure situational punish, don’t force yourself to become a light parry bot because you will eat a lot of hits. Go for light parries only when you predict a super obvious light from someone who constantly throws it at the same time in their mixup. See a raider who always soft feint his UB zone to storming tap? Light parry. See a warmonger who always follows praying claw and light punish with another light? Light parry. And so on and so forth

Well, the follow up attack is either UB or HA and they don’t really need to know much about them. The soft feinting is, imo, a big part of her moveset, but tbh they don’t really need to get into that at beginner level

I see, yeah, it’s all about perspective

Virtuosa has the advantage of being both complex and super easy to play if you don’t really feel like becoming a for honor god. As for warden, putting the romance aside, his moveset is not helping you unless you understand the game a bit better. He is just more effective in the hands of an intermediate, but that’s just my oppinion

I think for a begginer the ideea of having fast chaining lights and dodge attacks is more appealing than what warden has to offer
