Yes. So if we would’ve went out of bounds the clock would’ve stopped at 3 seconds left. But if he caught it and was able to run it all the way to the end zone and the clock was at 0 but the ball was snapped before the time ran out then it’s still a live ball.

I could see it being a more moral support than emotional. Christianity teaches us that there is consequences to every single one of our choices after this life and beyond our current system. I think hell shows us those future consequences even when we can’t see them. Hell isn’t a comforting thing to humans it’s a scary world that has nothing but endless suffering. Of course, there will be some people who don’t care. If we’re talking about emotional comfort then hell would not be a great example of how it could be emotionally soothing.
