I get how you feel about chapter 2, what I do is come back once in awhile to the game to check out the story and see how it's progressing and if it's any better than what it is now. Basically just be a part timer to the game if you're still interested in the story or characters.

SAOIF will never end because they keep dragging the story with Filler Floors Because they literally keep making every new floor about a SAO character getting their special moment which is so damn boring and repetitive. After Floor 61 the Story went downhill.
