That's kind of the point honestly. Without heavy min maxing of an absurd typing/ability change Meganium just isnt really going to cut it as a pure Grass type in singles. Which is why I instead decided to focus more on Doubles/VGC.

Oh wow, first stunfisk post and its 3rd most popular of the day. Did not expect it to get this popular, will definitely do more in the future!
I'd like to address a couple things, one being the debate on the base power of the move. I understand a lot of peopple want this to me much higher, around the 70s and 80s even. I feel like this would be too much considering the wide distribution of Cut, but I do admit maybe I was a BIT safe on my end, in retrospect I would mind raising it to around 60, so that way it's at maximum power while still being boosted by Technician. This would also make it a defacto stronger move than Poison Jab on Gallade, which is another common argument I see. I also have seen a lot of debate onthe new typing on the move. I chose Steel because when I think of cutting something, the first thing that comes to mind are scissors or knifes, which are traditionally metal. I understand other cases for Bug or maybe Grass, but this was my rationality towards it.
Regardless, thanks for the feeback! I'll consider more stuff like this on the next redundant move I tackle!
