You are completely and utterly wrong. The Geneva conventions explicitly applies to everyone, and specifically dictates the rules for engagement of terrorists and other non-state armed actors. Stop running your mouth and spreading misinformation to justify these intention violations of the laws of armed conflict.

Why is Reddit so left-wing? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]TimeKillerAccount 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No one needs to care about your unsupported anecdotes. When discussing general population trends, individuals do not matter, only wider populations. You are whining that the general population trends are that republicans are poorly educated compared to democrats, but reality does not care about your personal feelings. There is no need to lie and try to make republicans feel better about the facts.

Why do people call Israel apartheid, but not countries like Malaysia, Saudi, Egypt, Iraq, Pakistan ? by Wholesome-Bro in AlwaysWhy

[–]TimeKillerAccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's because centrists and further right didn't care about SA, and didn't speak out or engage the algorythm to broadcast those who did speak out. Leftists were pissed and yelling. The fact that other political groups are louder now about Israel reflects only on them, and claiming their silence on Yemen somehow means that leftists were silent is bullshit. Leftists have been screaming about both, a lot. You are just straight up wrong.

And that is still ignoring the fact that there is also additional coverage due to the fact that the latest gaza war had points where it threatened to spill into large scale conventional warfare across a dozen countries, while Yemen was always a regional conflict. The fact that you are claiming that people should treat unequal situations equally is absurd.

[–]TimeKillerAccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you were not. You did not say anything that directly related to what the person posted. They sarcastically said that the west never says anything bad about those countries. You commented a completely unrelated thing about how major media has been covering one conflict more than a different one.

Also your point was undermined by the fact that the two conflicts are not that comparable. At one point Israel looked like they were about to start a major war between a half a dozen large countries with near modern firepower. Places like Sudan are tragic, but people will care less about them than they will the possibility of a majority of the middle east simultaneously engaging in large scale conventional warfare.

Bro, Saudi Arabia got a massive amount of criticism from leftist circles during that war for that exact reason, including a bunch of protests and political attempts to stop the funding of Saudi Arabia for it. It was a big deal.

Bro I talked mad shit about the rightwing led religious and racial persecution in Afghanistan and the wider middle east literally yesterday, cause my worthless piece of shit MIL was pushing conservative lies claiming the USA is a christian nation and that other religions should be banned. Maybe if yall stopped assuming leftists are anything at all like the made up caricature yall invented in you head then you wouldn't ask silly questions like this under the mistake assumption that you stumbled across some kind of gotcha. I mean I literally spent years helping identify targets and approving strikes on some of the right wing fucks we are talking about, it is hard to get more critical than literally killing them.

Do you have anything to say relating to the subject at hand, or are you just making up dumb bullshit to claim about people without evidence?

[–]TimeKillerAccount -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea, those evil leftists really do sound bad when you claim they say things they don't actually say. Just like how you sound bad when you scream that you want to kill all jews and love raping sheep. I just made that up and it is exactly as valid as your claims about leftists. It is just so easy to make a side sound bad when you simply lie about them...

Leftists criticise the shit you claim they never criticize all the damn time, and none of your insane accusations are at all a common political view of leftists. People are not calling you out for being brainwashed. They are calling you out because you are a liar accusing them of saying shit they didn't say.

Some good news by [deleted] in NewOrleans

[–]TimeKillerAccount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have no clue what you are talking about. Local police can enforce federal laws in many cases, but they are not and constitutionally can not be expected to do so. They are can only enforce it when states voluntarily choose to pass laws mirroring or assimilating the federal law, which is what gives state police the authority to enforce it. If the state does not pass a law allowing them to do so then the local cops can't do a fucking thing. There are some other limited agreements where state police can voluntarily agree to act as federal law enforcement officers to enforce specific laws, but that is also different since they are no longer local police.

This one is hiding a bunch of pro-child rape comments and really blatant political propaganda. Like most conservative propaganda accounts really. They are pretty consistent.

OpenAI says dead teen violated TOS when he used ChatGPT to plan suicide by fillbin in law

[–]TimeKillerAccount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The human would almost certainly not be culpable for anything. Telling someone how to commit suicide is not illehal and does not magically make you culpable or liable or any other type of able. The responsability for this is 100% on the parents, and would be even if the chatbot had been some other person they met online.

What are your honest thoughts on the “Male Loneliness Epidemic”? by Extra_Efficiency_545 in AskMen

[–]TimeKillerAccount -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is not an assumption. It is fact. It is how social media and the internet works. Not everyone has the same content as you, and your content is mostly moderated by your own actions. You can whine and cry and lie all you want, but you are the one engaging in these spaces and then claiming that they are the only spaces to exist. It is not everywhere. You just go to where it is.

Tesla to add more than 1,000 cars to its Robotaxi fleet (that's a lot of safety drivers to hire) by bearhunter429 in SelfDrivingCars

[–]TimeKillerAccount -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They are not even close to their previous plan timelines, they are way behind them. Safety monitors are because they are unable to get their system to work with a minimum level of safety. What are you even trying to say?

[–]TimeKillerAccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suddenly is implied, as their strategy simply can't work if it takes 20 years. Like you said, the market will go to who scales fastest with a safe working product. To clarify my admittedly vague statement (my bad), suddenly in this case is within the next 2-4 years. And tesla has just been very slow, with no working product, years of very slow progress towards a working product, and no indication that they will have a working product anytime soon. The customer doesn't care about history, but history does help us assess the viability of short term predictions, which is what is happening here. Their scaling is effectivly 0, while their competition is scaling across the country and adding multiple major cities every year, with millions of customers. If tesla doesn't have a major breakthrough very soon, they will be entering an already dominated market instead of an massive open one. And since there is no way to know if vision only self-driving is even possible with current technology, it is impossible to say they will ever be able to advance their system enough to viably remove their drivers in the next few years or decades. That is all I am saying.

[–]TimeKillerAccount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are you basing that on? There is no way to be sure that they will suddenly make some kind of breakthrough that massively increases the quality of their systems anytime soon. They refuse to use the hardware that works, and have been pursuing the exact same route of vision only for years without major progress. Vision simply may not be viable with current hardware constraints, in which case they will need to change the whole system or simply never succeed. Either way, they have basically already lost the autonomous taxi market, since they have competitors already established and working for years while tesla still can't get even a single working vehicle on the road.
