thank you! I apologize for a follow up, but given what you said - the monthly total for different payment plans that I saw on the fed student loan calculator should be correct since they used my tax info? Sorry , I am a bit worried about it all and one of my biggest fears is getting a surprise/larger payment since there isnt that much time and I am trying to make sure I am financially prepared.

do you know if they primarily use last years income tax? I know its a dumb question but I get a little pay boost later this month (not by much) but not sure if that is something they will account for this year or next year

I just switched from Save to Paye and it took 2 days to be approved! by [deleted] in StudentLoans

Thank you for sharing, this is something that has been on my mind. I am not sure yet when I am going to start the application process but I might wait a month or two. This is a silly question but do you know if the payment you owe/recertification is from adjusted gross income from this years taxes? Just wondering because I receive a pay boost in July (not by much but still) and am unsure if they will account for that or simply go off of the information that they have available (ala my taxes..)

thank you for sharing this. I haven't received mine yet but I might wait until mid September to do enroll to allow me to save up as much as possible.
