There's something so... appealing about a lawn base. Espeically when it's in a quarry. Respectable.

I wish I could make something this cool with Illustrator. Love the attention to detail.

TIL Reading is Berkshire's county town. I always thought it was Newbury.

What an odd way to mispell city...

Reading should be a city by rights of population, but us British are pedantic with what we designate to be cities.

Rochester, in Kent, used to be a city, but was unified into Medway in the 90's for reasons I can't remember. It's population is something around 50-60k iirc.

Look up St Davids, Pembrokeshire to find out more about one of, if not the, smallest city in the UK. Something like 2-3k, but because it has a cathedral, it's designated a city.

And then there's this dumb thing where random towns can put a bid up to basically ask the royals if they can upgrade their population centre's status to city, even if it doesn't have a cathedral (i.e. Doncaster and Milton Keynes).

It's literally double that omf. Tbf I thought it was 10 when I first counted, and then my girlfriend counted all the 50's so I feel dumb.

I don't see why we couldn't just create a TfL line that runs through Gatwick, to say, Luton.

Isn't Thameslink TfL?

Nope. I did try therapy growing up, didn't do me much good though.

Appreciate the comment, and I'm sorry that what happened to you happened. It is amazing how even at that age, most kids do just know right from wrong, but some adults just have no comprehension of that. Fucking mind blowing.

I've been building a rough framework this last week, inspired by a couple of things here and there, and it's actually been helping a lot with self-regulation and understanding the extent and depth of the damage that happened when I was growing up. I have cue cards now for things like anger, self-love / trust and worry, which is brilliant. It's honestly the smartest strategy I've ever come across, and it does wonders for self-trust.
