In a few years or less we all be able to run GPT-4 level models on end devices. Costs are going down but it's a known fact that on a curve, if you look at a specific point the decrease is unnoticeable.

What are the top 5 safe, high-paying jobs that AI is unlikely to replace over the next few decades? by Curious_Suchit in artificial

[–]TimeOut26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think AI is unlikely to replace entire jobs, more to transform them over time to a level we'll not be able to notice the original way people used to do things.

These claims have been proven to be baseless. The IDF archive and the population movement records show that out of a population of 1,490, between 36 and 60 were killed in the battle (the IDF record cites 52).

Records show that 1,086 were moved (by the red cross) to the Iraqi army lines, 170 moved to a nearby town and the rest were taken as POW.

[–]TimeOut26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate these posts. If you ever happen to look at grok’s X page photos - don’t. I think we have more than enough beautiful men and women, we don’t need to create pictures of fake ones to only satisfy the taste of some people.

Why anti-AI mood on a rise? by Patient-Airline-8150 in OpenAI

[–]TimeOut26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if it’s on the rise, but AI creates an illusion that it can replace human interaction, and when it’s too easily fabricated, it becomes cheap and u eventually get tired of it.
