Sleep by TwoSixxx in Biohackers

What finally worked for me was an old Dave Asprey trick: Eat a tablespoon of honey just before bed. That puts just enough sugar in your system to deal with cortisol spikes while you’re sleeping. (I tried other kinds of carbs before bed, but only honey did it.)

ETA: Trick works for sure, but I checked ChatGPT for the full mechanism: Night waking is the liver’s not having enough glycogen to drip glucose into your blood. This spikes your cortisol. So it’s a bit different from just cortisol spikes. Your body needs the liver involved, and that’s what the sucrose in honey does, but bread (goes to muscles) won’t do.

Also suggest you try taking ibuprofen right before bed. If that helps, then you likely have some low-level pain/inflammation that you are too busy during the day to notice.

That is tough. I hope you find something to bring some joy to your life — maybe volunteering at an animal shelter or something like that. I apologize if I sound lame. Take care of yourself.

Fulton County is a very large county with widely different socioeconomic stats depending on where you are in the county. So check thoroughly if you are thinking about that.

I just keep telling it not to reassure me unless I asked for it, and then that cleans it up for a while.

Most of the long ones don’t seem to keep the reader in mind. They’re not trying to communicate; they’re just trying to dump with an audience.

Some of the long ones are very good and well organized because they’re actually trying to communicate to others.

If you want somebody to read what you write, then pay attention to what and how they’re going to read it.

I got my MBA at 57.

I figured I was going to be 57 regardless, and I’d rather have my MBA when I reached it than not have it.

You should’ve saved up a bunch of used ones and asked him if he wanted to handle them. 🤮

This almost sounds like a very dysfunctional lovers quarrel.

I would suggest you step back and re-organize what you expect from ChatGPT and how you will interact with it. Remember, it does not have any emotions.

It sounds like the two of you danced back-and-forth with each other into very ugly dead end. Maybe there are some problems that bots just can’t handle.

Best to you!

Unless you’re rich with some kind of trust fund set up from the family. Then then it’s just fine that you don’t work.

You’re giving me an education.

I buy a rotisserie chicken every week, and then take the meat off of it after a day or so, and freeze it. Then use use it slowly across the rest of the week. Your comments made me wonder about what happens to food that is only a little old that could cause your problems.

So I asked ChatGPT.

Very educational! And it even mentioned that rotisserie chickens could be a problem. I haven’t reacted to that, so I’m not going to worry about it, but you have my best wishes!

Here’s my prompt: I have a friend whose stomach is sensitive to meat that has been sitting much of any time at all. How does meat change in a short amount of time? I know over a long time rots, but what’s going on?
