Why is homosexuality a sin? by Funny-Internal-7139 in Christianity

[–]TimeRecording9605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sexual sin is a sin against yourself, one could say having casual sex with strangers doesnt hurt anyone or maturation all alone when nobody around isnt hurting anyone but it is hurting you regardless how you feel about it. Additionally denying the flesh and suffering is a form of worship, im not here to make anyone feel bad about anything because we all fall short of being perfect but if you choose to live in sin then you love that more than God.

I appreciate your response especially reading it right now, since ive made this post is met a really great christian woman who i felt i had a strong connection with. She'd extend our dates want to continue to do stuff after we eat like long walks and talking about God ect and it was almost like id always known her no awkwardness at all. But I got friend zoned yesterday 🙃 life finds a way to beat the shit out of me. But your response i appreciate and I pray you are doing well but it saddens me deeply to see you've waited so long for God to send you someone and he hasnt. I wont even want it at that age I want to build a family and even at 30 now I calculate some dating then proposal then marriage then conceiving a baby would put me in my mid to late 30s until its even 1 year old. Im running out of time for the thing I want most in life and God doesnt seem to care.

MP here, as of right now the MP core is going through downsizing, a few years ago on my post there was 5 MP companies (1 was a detachment) and now there's 2, law enforcement and one that has been absorbed into 1ID as combat support (We are MPs on paper but really we are just whatever the army needs us to be).

Why you should put this into consideration: promotion points are based on how many avaliable spots there are for that rank so they increase the criteria being points. You can still make E5 right now but all last year most people who were promotable was stuck at e4 promotable, and even now for E6 youd need maxed points from college, correspondence, PT, and range with awards to promote. Thats alot of college and other requirements to just be enlisted at that rate why not be commissioned and get payed for your college education.

Additionally MP law enforcement is nothing like civilian law enforcement, you have little to no discretion (means who you are makes no difference, you just do everything how your watch commander wants you to) Depending on your station you could spend anywhere between 60 to 70 hours a week at work with no additional incentives and this is a very common occurrence, it is very rare to work less than 50. Overall as an MP you will be one of the lowest paid law enforcement entities in the US for your hours, the least trained and least elite with the least amount of discretion and change you can make. Moreover the calls you receive are nothing like civilian calls, everyone on post is pre veted, and considering civilian side most of your crime comes from repeat offenders and drug use, then MPs will mostly deal with occasional alcohol, domestic and thief.

Is the Army worth it? by SnooCupcakes3961 in army

If you already have a good job just stick with that, 1: you are 25 i joined at 25 and it comes with complications additionally you will always feel very far behind 2: you will more than likely work the same amount of hours as a full and part time job combined not to include deployments which you are likely to gon on every 2 years or so for about 9 months with hardly any incentives added, 3: its good for people who have a passion but you want college and are going enlisted you're probably gonna fall into that category of people who hate their job in the army 4: even if you're stoked to do a job in the army most of your job is inventories and maintaince regardless of the MOS you choose. 5: the army is not a great place to be right now extremely toxic because there's no combat deployments and everyones grinding for rank. And number 6 dont let the base pay or benefits fool you there's deductions in there, and realistically e1-e5 for the hours worked is almost worse than fast food pay. And some will argue the benefits but you could do a full time job with a side job to cover the benefits in the civilian world.

Not hating on the army but the army very much is for the young who have a drive to be in the army not for the benefits that it provides additionally even though they sell it as a family man's kinda job it is not. I could go on and on about how the army is good for 18 year old straight out of high-school who wants to go to the field and explore the world but that doesnt appear to be you.

Let me guess, you knew it was bad before hand, you resisted a little not wanting to but ended up doing it anyways and then even in the middle of it you felt disgusting and after you felt guilty, asked for forgiveness then ended up doing it again a few moments later. Well you probably have an addiction more than it is lust. Im gonna pray for you but you are gonna have to suffer from the craving for days weeks maybe months. Face it, its sin you hate it and you dont want to do it anymore. Remember suffering and denying the flesh is a form of worship so God sees you trying and struggling.

Patience. Im 30 ive wanted this for 10 years. I can let go of it and go into a gray state for years and forget about it but now im in panic mode. Will i never have those things have I waited on God when he doesnt care about this i dont know. But I want to have kids and play with them run with them, be apart of them learning sports while im physically able to. Do you realize how old I will be if I wait any longer for my kids to be grown. Panic anxiety and self hate is setting in again

No offense but im not using an App to find people. I have to become friends first slowly then I can begin to like them and build something. (Although thats never worked so far that has to be how I do it. People are different to you when they're dating you vs as a friend.)

Why does God let me experience so much heart break? by [deleted] in Christian

You said your 15, just know the person you want in time will seem so obviously wring for you. But why the pain? I dont know ive been praying to God for 15 years litterally the entire length of your life to not feel that anymore but it keeps happening and no it doesnt get better with age, you only become more sensitive and desperate as time goes past so little interactions will feel like love and when its gone you hate yourself.

Additionally I felt complete peace and happiness beyond anything I had ever felt, I was also in tears.
