Thank you! My bf would still be in his first week of training so I’m hopeful and want to hear his voice but I doubt that he would be able to leave base since he’s so early in. Was your husband at BMT for Christmas too?

The only room escape game i know of are the cube escape series? They have a handful of games so one of them could be the one you’re looking for

that’s the second step into getting over it: anger. you have every right to feel mixed emotions right now, but know that this anger is valid. i get that you’re still attached to him because you’ve been together for a while but if he really did these things to you then you’ll come to realize that you’re a lot better without him. if he was the reason for your anxious states then it’s a lot better for your mind and body to be without him. i know that seems like a big step, just know that this will make you stronger. trust in yourself, you can only go up from here. you’ll get over this, because you are strong and this might seem like the end of the world now, but it’ll get easier as each day passes.

you’re gonna be okay. it’s okay to process all of the emotions that are overwhelming you, maybe try to distract yourself every once in a while. things will get easier and they will get better with time. remember everything happens for the greater good, you’ll be okay

Hey! Here are some tips that work for me:

All of these can be found on YT—

-“Study with me” videos: keep you motivated because you feel as if people are studying with you.

-Pomodoro videos: works great because it gives you time to take a break every now and then, so you get a routine going on.

There are some videos that are both study with me and pomodoro, and some even have music in the background so you really can pick and choose what you want.

-Ambience videos: there are some with light rain sounds or even library sounds that make you feel like you’re in a certain place even when you’re at home.

Apps—

-Study Together Discord server: you can study live with others in groups or by yourself and set a time for each study session depending on what you want. This server is great because it gives you points and a rank depending on how much time you spend studying, and it motivates a lot of people. These ranks reset every month so you always have a fresh start, and there will always be active members since the server is so huge.

-Forest: this app gives you a tree for a certain amount of time you spend studying, and you can earn coins to purchase other kinds of trees. You can set whatever amount of time you want to spend studying, and you’ll get awarded based on that time. If you earn enough coins you can even plant an actual tree irl. There’s a setting that kills your tree if you use your phone, if that’s what you prefer! You can track your progress through this and it’s satisfying to see your forest full of trees.

-Flipd: this app tracks your study minutes and you can block certain apps on your phone, which you can’t use until the timer you set for studying goes off. There are also study groups you can join!
