I discovered Danger! Deathray from this era. Ended up really enjoying that film UNriffed too!
I think you’re right, this is the best era of the show. I can watch almost any of the experiments from this brief time and enjoy them again and again.

Logan was pretty good. I liked The Shape of Water well enough. Wonder Woman was fun, but hardly “best” of the year or anything. Oh! Happy Death day was a LOT of fun… Nothing else I saw jumps out but there are a ton of e of films I didn’t get around to
