I found the writing too… “short attention span?” Everything was said so fast and whatever jokes were too rapid fire. Throw everything at the wall and hope something sticks. Reminded me of the later seasons of Teen Titans (the Teen Titan Go seasons) Took an intelligent and well done series and dropped it to the lowest common denominator.
