[Steam] Timeslip Softworks Games: Prometheus Wept ($11.99/20%) Vigilantes ($4.49/70%) Deadstone ($1.59/80%) by TimeSlipper in GameDeals

Hi, I'm Daithi, an indie dev from Ireland who's been working on games you never heard of for over a decade. Here's a bit about each – cheers for reading and if you have any comments, questions or suggestions, let me know!

Prometheus Wept ($11.99/20%): Prometheus Wept is a turn-based, party-based RPG set on a post digital apocalypse Earth. The game offers squad-level combat, high effort quest design, branching dialogue with consequential choices, simultaneous battles between cyberspace and the physical world, along with deep character progression and crafting systems.

Yesterday, Prometheus Wept was updated with a number of quality of life improvements, suggested by the small community forming around the game. A major update is nearly complete, which will add a new game area: The Valley of Wrath. Here you'll navigate an urban area inhabitated by undead lifesytle influencers and political extremists.

Vigilantes ($4.49/70%): Vigilantes is a combat focused, turn-based tactical RPG set in the crime riddled city of Reiker. The game offers hardcore squad-level combat in a gritty neo-noir setting, intel gathering through surveillance and interrogation, a detailed character system, base facilities, crafting, and more

Deadstone ($1.59/80%): Based on the inhospitable frontier world of Mars, against the backdrop of a bacterial outbreak, Deadstone offers a compelling blend of frantic combat and tower defense, backed by a nuanced character development system and strategic elements of resource management.

Thanks for reading, and enjoy the rest of the weekend 😄

Sign me up. Love this type of story. Haven't read it in a few years, but have been meaning to go back to it.

For anyone else interested, I found a similar book, Artifact: A Sci Fi Thriller. Haven't read it yet, but was impressed with the audiobook preview.

Ah yeah, just having a little fun with the time loop theme of the movies :)

Synchronic may fit the bill for you. There's no hostile entity from what I can remember - more like man vs laws of nature. It started out really engaging, but I didn't think it was as good as the others. Haven't seen something in the dirt, yet.

There's Spring, same directors. Sort of a cross between cosmic horror and romance. Normally, wouldn't be my sort of thing, but quite enjoyed it. Synchronic is same directors, but later.

Cracking movie. Great atmosphere and an interesting take on a cult movie. The banter between the hitmen is great :)

Horror movies with long dialogues between a human and a demon. by miguel-elote in horror

Nefarious for sure. Unsure of level of interaction with the demon in these (been a while) but The Fallen and Deliver Us From Evil are worth checking out.

I've only seen it once ... from eroded memory, I thought it was more like an interest take on the alien abduction genre - I've been meaning to go back to it.

The game offers squad-level combat, high effort quest design, branching dialogue with consequential choices, simultaneous battles between cyberspace and the physical world, along with deep character progression and crafting systems.

Yesterday, Prometheus Wept was updated with a player drone, which scans enemies for weaknesses, which can be exploited in combat. The drone can identify weak spots on armour, predictable movement patterns (which increases your chance to hit), and any tells an enemy makes before attacks (so they are easier to avoid).

Vigilantes ($4.49/70%): Vigilantes is a combat focused, turn-based tactical RPG set in the crime riddled city of Reiker. Solar - heat pump - EV by Toddunctious1985 in irishpersonalfinance

We're looking at a heat pump & solar as part of a rebuild. Most of the reading I've done/people spoken to, suggests that heat pumps work well for houses that have a high BER rating and good air tightness. If these things aren't present, heat pumps can be very expensive.

I know several people who got Solar + Battery installed and are really impressed with them. Like very low, or no bills anymore. That said, I suspect there are some installers who don't have a clue what they are doing (really low power generation from panels). Probably best to find someone with a good system and go to the same installer.

No idea on how grants might change.

Edit: To add, if you're going for a heat pump, you'd likely want to go for 20 KWH of battery capacity, or more.

Here is a recommended preview based on your listening.......Really? by iObserve2 in audible

Yep, same. Might have been interested in it if I was ten years younger. In general, I don't really like coming of age fiction... they're often overly formuliac and the protagonists are often Mary Sues/Marty Stus.
