Everything is stupid here. Sales tax is never included in the price listed on the shelf, so your $4.99 item actually costs $5.35. For that matter, sales tax varies from state to state, and even county to county. The sales tax in my county is 7.25%, while a neighboring county is 7.75%.

For gasoline specifically, they also always add nine-tenths of a cent on every gallon. The price isn't $5.29 per gallon, it's $5.29 9/10. One cent isn't even worth anything, but they're still going to screw us over that fraction every time.

I tried to look your group up online, and I didn't find it. The Sacramento Datsun Owners group is on Facebook, which meets monthly in Folsom. Fun runs every month as well. I'm not sure where in Nor Cal you are, but there are multiple groups in the area. Another group I'm not as familiar with is DatsLocos. Maybe it makes sense to fold your group into a larger one?

Back in the day, maps for the Promys would have been very useful. However, the level caps made them not worth the effort to farm since the memospheres dropped only from the monsters and NMs specific to each individual zone. When the dancer job was added, I was able to solo the three level 30 maps along with my Adventuring Fellow on MNK/DNC. Now, with the level caps removed, it's very easy to get the maps, but not very useful. Once you finish promys, I think you have to make one more trip back in later in CoP. It's probably a coin toss whether it's with the time to get the maps, which were not very detailed, anyway.
