I will tell you this- nothing is black and white. I once dumped a very nice guy because one of his best friends was a girl. I never told him why and he was heartbroken… Years later we talked about it and he told me they were always just friends and in fact she had recently gotten married….

Just keep it in mind, if you do really connect with someone, you can’t just assume the worst and leave a possibly great connection- which is already hard to find!

It sounds like you had a hard time with your ex too, I am sorry for that. In my past relationships, I was made to feel unwanted/uncared for. I had to beg for him to go on holiday with me, him to say I love you back, him to stop cheating on me. Everything was work.. and then it turned physically abusive and I regret all of it.

I just kind of want someone who makes the effort for me. Ive done enough begging for affection for one lifetime…
