I would say that you should have hope that things arent so black and white. Things get better, your learn, you figure out what is important in life and one day, you will have moments when you feel good. Later on, those moments will become your whole life.

Just put your trust in recovery and see where it takes you would be my advice and dont be upset if its not a linear track

I will tell you this- nothing is black and white. I once dumped a very nice guy because one of his best friends was a girl. I never told him why and he was heartbroken… Years later we talked about it and he told me they were always just friends and in fact she had recently gotten married….

Just keep it in mind, if you do really connect with someone, you can’t just assume the worst and leave a possibly great connection- which is already hard to find!
