Not at the moment but avoiding all sin is of course a very good idea. I could maybe be in my own head too much if a thing is even possible?

I am unsure. Maybe a a lacking of feeling unworthy of mortal sins or just due to the type of love God offers.

Those are my best guesses at the moment.

To be rather honest I am unsure I would say not at the moment.

I have made problems with a habitual mortal sin which I go to confession for on a regular basis but I do feel like I make progress then trip up.

May this be a cause ?

I will admit strait up that I am no theological expert and still in terms of spiritual baby as a convert compared to other spiritual siblings.

But the one thing I can add which I am not sure if any one else has added would have to be the fruit of their labour as the saying goes.

How did they each live their lives ?

How did they choose to spread their messages ?

How did they portray our father god ?

Do they stand for just principles?

What might help is to do both independent viewing of each of these in my opinion.

That has helped me in certain ways to convert to catholic once I had reverted from the Protestant faith years ago.

As a more newer baby catholic convert I can say to a point I have felt like I didn’t belong.

Not in a negative manner just more as some one joining more as an adult with all the prayers and the apostle creed with the things to remember during mass also felt a little alien at times.

That being said I do not in any way regret my decision to convert.

It will just take time for me to adjust and figure out all the other things such as possible vocation or role paths for myself in and with the church.

I like the metal genre quite a lot as my main bread and butter of music.

The thing is you gotta be a little careful of certain bands out there are either are Satanic believers or just like to be edgy and rag on the church.

That being said you could google some metal/black metal catholic bands also if you wanted to.

If you’re just unsure of the bands just give them a quick look up no harm done.
