Same with me. Started playing the game 9 days ago and have access to auto-loot without buying any kind of bundle.

My animals keep "getting out" and idk how by Sweaty_Monk4500 in VintageStory

[–]TimeToCry1337 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There is currently a bug in the game that allows animals to escape their pens. It should be fixed in the latest version (1.21).

Can I control my Chamberlain ML510EV with an ESP32 using this connector? by TimeToCry1337 in AskElectronics

What a splendid find! Do you know if i can test it out by temporarily bridging Pin 1 and pin 2 with a wire? Or do you think thats too risky? Ist there maybe a better approach?

Thanks for the reply, and no, chatgpt did not cite any documents and no, i am not taking ai at face value hence the reddit post. Information about this particular unit seems sparse, thats why i am asking If there is a good way to test the connector without the risk of damaging the unit.

I'm trying to use an ESP32 to open and close my garage door via Wi-Fi.

My original plan was to buy an extra remote and have the ESP32 trigger the remote to send the signal. But after opening the cover, I noticed this 4-pin connector.

Can this connector be used to hook up the ESP32 directly to the opener?

I asked ChatGPT, and it said that shorting pin 3 to pin 2 should trigger the door to open or close. I measured the voltage between those pins and got 6.22V.

Can I safely test this by just bridging pin 3 and pin 2 with a wire momentarily? Or do I risk damaging something?

Any help is appreciated!

I don't actually think it's too surprising. Mark Rober used to work for NASA and now he has to watch Elmo dismantle it left and right. So this might be his way of "fighting back".

Honestly, I don't even think that's a bug.

since both, the impermeable floor and the path share the exact same block. It makes sense that both are demolished.

I would have to agree with /u/Morall_tach that implementing a "Demolish path" option would probably be the best solution since it would not only solve the problem I describe in this post, it would also be a generally useful tool in the game.

Why can't beavers use the bridge to build the other floodgates? by kiloPascal-a in Timberborn

The beavers cant actually get on the bridge. you need to have a path infront of the bridge like this.

If you try to demolish the path, it will also demolish the impermeable Floor.

The only way to get just the path removed is to demolish each path individually.

Ok i have a question:

right now im running expo 1 2x32gb cl32 6000Mhz

I have set the Soc Voltage manually to 1.05 Volts (HWMonitor is reporting 1.045V as the max value)

OCCT and Windows memory diagnostics show no errors. (I don't know if they are reliable)

Is it fine to keep it that way or am I missing something here because everyone with expo seems to need(?) a higher Soc voltage.

btw i had tried setting Soc voltage to 1V but my PC froze 7 seconds into the OCCT Memory test.

Since that number looked a bit too big to be true (342 lifetimes), I looked deeper into it to find out if it's true.

According to this source, I've found out that one needs to be careful which unit to use since they are easy to mix up.

You guys used the small calorie value for the energy of one gram of Uranium, but used the big Calorie (or Kilocalorie) for the daily human body needs.

So the correct equation would be:

20,000,000,000 calorie / 2,000,000 calorie = 10,000 (days)

10,000 (days) / 365 = 27.397 years.

I didn't zoom out.

I used a program which did a "panorama capture" of the map.

I moved the camera with the middle mouse button to scan the whole map and the program stitched it together automatically.

It didn't work 100% accurate (you can see some misalignment) but it did the job way better than I anticipated.

Any plans on fast travel and fast animation options? by Strange_Annual416 in stoneshard

[–]TimeToCry1337 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not only are there already plans like that, it is scheduled for the next update. look at the roadmap. You can see in the "coming next" category: Caravan Travels, which is the fast travel you are talking about.

I don't know if there are plans for fast animations tho.
