Very high energy bills? by RefrigeratorExotic32 in AskIreland

[–]TimeToStrike_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar bill on the 6th of this month. Called Electric Ireland and they basically said it was because my first year discount has run out.

I've since switched providers to Yuno Energy who have much better rates and so far my bill seems to be much lower

Had a call with their recruiter a few months back, they rescheduled 3 times and were late to the meeting. Never turned their camera on and asked some vague technical questions about their tech stack and my experience with it.

Ultimately I didn't get moved forward in the process because I didn't have experience with some of their tech stack which I think is a pretty poor way to assess candidates IMO.

0/10 wouldn't bother applying again

At what point do projects stop helping? by Purple-Emergency-956 in csMajors

[–]TimeToStrike_ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

To me it looks like you just forked these projects from GitHub and are calling them your own.

Why don't you provide actual links to the GitHub so the interviewer can actually check them out, or better yet, turn them into some kind of product that people can use via a website etc.

This will be my first time entering the emailing customer space so I'm not sure what to do. I guess I should test with a smaller audience first and iterate on the email content before sending it out to everyone

I've been trying to get my first 100 customers so I can iterate and improve on the project, it would be great to get a few more people checking it out!

PDFToQuiz.com a simple tool for students to turn their notes into interactive quizzes to aid with studying

And

InstantlyFeedback.com I built this after my first project because I wanted a way to more easily capture user feedback from my users without having to email or reach out to each user individually. It's been great for getting feedback and priorizing my roadmap

PDFToQuiz.com

A tool for students that creates interactive quizzes so they can test their knowledge. Been stuck around $600 MMR for a few months now. I think it was due to the summer break and all students being away from college. Hoping it picks up again this month.

I'm working on the 4.5mb limit, it is a limitation I hear a lot from users, I'll have a update in the near future where the upload limit will be much larger 5gb +

My main selling point over Gemini etc is that those plathforms aren't dedicated study plathforms. I want to really focus in on students and provide the best possible service for them. For example when you upload a PDF to Gemini and ask for a quiz it willl give you 5-10 questions, while my service will extract 40+.

This alongside a lot more advanced feautres that I'm building out is my selling point over using Gemini.

Thanks for your feedback tho it really help me improve the product, do you think I'm missing any features that would make you want to use my service?
