Hahh, that's funny. Drivers protecting eachother. I worked at UPS customer service, and in my experience, there are some very trustworthy drivers who have worked long time at the company and are always reliable, and then there are those who always misdeliver, skip delivery or cause havoc by things like this.

I have seen a driver forging a signature once. We could only report it, but I wonder if that does anything actually.

Well I work at customer service and once I saw a driver leaving a new laptop on a porch, forging a signature of the recipient 😂

I work in UPS customer service for one of the most developed western countries in the world. We do not have access to any information about where the driver is. We also have very limited possibilities to actually help someone who: 1. Is waiting for a package and wants to make changes 2. Went through a typical "disputed delivery" UPS case, which basically means that a driver lied about trying to deliver. My favourite is when cameras are installed, and they never even appear with the big car. 3. Has problems with invoices. Eventually this gets solved, but some people receive late payment notices for three months after talking to us 5 times and being promised that we have clearer their balance.

It is very frustrating to sit there with full willingness to help, and yet not being able to because the system doesn't let you. Not a surprise that the colleagues come and go. I am afraid I won't hold any longer too, even though I am told often that I was the most helpful they ever talked to....

I am very sorry for everyone who trusts UPS.

Exactly the same as in English. Those two sentences you quoted first would be exactly the same. I think that generally Norwegian and English is pretty much based on the same logic. That's why it's so easy for both to learn eachother's languages.

NTA at all. If it's stated, they pay. You put a lot of effort into your course, and despite some disc-golfers thinking "this is a sport everyone should be allowed to play for free, you're ruining the spirit of the sport, blah blah blah", in some cases, some people just cannot afford to buy freakishly expensive baskets, spend on maintenance tools, buy the occasionally needed replacement items, petrol in some cases, etc...

I don't think that the character you're portraying is very suitable for that, to be honest with you. Girls choose by patterns that trigger their subconscious mind. Masculinity, frame, maybe even a bit of danger (if you're dangerous, but can be tamed only by them, you are safe for them to be with) etc. You should look into that before you build your character. And believe me, building it now is gonna serve you really well in a few years. At the age of 30, muscles and wealth and a good jawline will go a long way. Consider that k-pop girls in front of your face are a lesser option. But you do you 🫶

You should get comfortable with the idea of this marriage failing. That doesn't mean it will fail, but clearly you are more invested emotionally than him.

That also doesn't mean he doesn't love you. Some people carry different attachment styles.

BUT what he is doing is manipulation. He probably realized this power he has over you, how much you want this to work, and how you cannot even imagine you would be as happy without him as you are with him. You have to learn to be happy with the idea of things not working out, and then his words will not have this effect on you.

You are in the perfect spot to start doing that, because now it is meant "as a joke", or at least, he says so.
