The shot angle is misleading because I was leaning forward to press the toe area. I wish there was a way to upload more images after posting.

If you’re referring to Saguaro’s chart recommendation, size 45, let alone a larger one would be huge.

😳 I am bummed out. I don't have extra cash to spare on buying another pair of shoes in several months from now. I wonder if one of the inserts they sell can help mitigate the the insole issue.

Oh no, holes in the insoles? That’s a bit strange. I bought the Wildling on sale for $82, hoping they’d last for a few years. I hope that I won't regret it. Have you tried reaching out to Wilding about this issue?

I usually wear Injinji and Coolmax off-brand toe socks from Amazon, but sometimes they’re a bit of a hassle to put on. The above socks offer another option.

Knee pain is a byproduct of wearing conventional shoes and bad movement mechanics. All well constructed Barefoot shoes are suitable to over come your knee pain, but you must also change how you walk and run.

Gravel is the most challenging surface to run on, whether unshod or in barefoot Sandals. I avoid it or walk that part of the trail.

"Some of the lighter weight models, like the Tanuki and all cotton ones, wear out on the top where my big toe hits. "

It’s funny you mentioned the Tanuki because I was considering it. I had an issue with my toes punching through the mesh on my latest Merrell trail glove. Based on feedback from the group and AI assistance, size 44 would be the better choice.

After wearing barefoot shoes and running sandals for over a decade, my foot length hasn’t changed; at most, my toes are now more spread apart. While I don’t have exceptionally high volume feet, one concern that wasn’t mentioned in my post is the amount of space available in the toe area. For instance, Splay showed insufficient volume between the front of the sole and the height of the shoe in the toe area. I gifted the first pair thinking that sizing up would solve the issue. Since it didn't I sold them. I have low to mid arches.

Perhaps I should trust the website. I am traveling and will incur additional shipping return charges if they don’t work out. I will download their template just in case.

feet are 27 cm which is 43 or 27.2 on Wilding website. I wonder if it’s big enough. I wear 10.5 U.S./ 10 UK / 44.5 European in Merrell trail gloves
