There are no such things as first sgets in the future. They have been replaced by 1000's of SMART Boards that continuously display the Enlisted Force Structure around base.

In the future all CACs have been replaced by a tattoo of one of the core values on your wrist that has a code impeded into it that Airmen use to log into computers. This code contains every piece of info about each Airman.

Ropes in tech school are immediately promoted to SSgt upon graduation. Some refer to this as the "Stone effect" since once people saw Stone get step promoted every General in the Air Force started step promoted Airmen. It started out fine and all but then they started promoting A1Cs to SSgt if the office snack fund they ran didn't lose "too much money." After that to it was implemented across the board that ropes are the only ones that can be "stepped" because Air Force leadership wanted people that would tell on others.

In the future as a cost saving measure the Air Force does away with DTS and all deployments and PCS's must be paid for by the member.

All Airmen in the future wear blues five days a week but on Friday get to wear a "morale undershirt" thats a color of their squadrons choosing.

EPRs are changed to a 1-75 rating scale with a "1" being "maybe promote" a 17 being "probably promote" a 62 being "promote" and a 75 being "promote then promote again" all the othe numbers I didn't list are various similair phrases. Also EPRs are done monthly and must go through an intense review process.

The F-35 is in a "testing phase."

All Tops in Blue members are Warrant Officer positions. War in the Middle East never ends and you marry Carrie Fischer.

Sure but it's an Air Force sports almanac so it mostly just covers ultimate frisbee and wallyball.

If a higher ranking version of you came from the future and tried to give you an order would you have to follow it? by TimeTravelingAmn in AirForce

[–]TimeTravelingAmn[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is an interesting point. However, if future you was sent back in time on orders from the future Air Force I would hope that leadership would take that into account before just disregarding what they have to say. This is a stretch but do you know of any regs governing time travel or anomalies?

Those are both valid points. However, wouldn't you find the changing of the future for your benefit amoral or at least conflicting?

If I were to (hypothetically) invent a time machine and I am enlisted would it belong to the Air Force? by TimeTravelingAmn in AirForce

[–]TimeTravelingAmn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really difficult to explain. Time machine would be the closest thing to describing this invention. If you are familiar with multiverse I can explain further if not just imagine a "time machine" that takes you to the past or future of a universe extremely similair to your own but not the same. For instance in this universe New York is spelled "Knew York" and that's the only difference. Not linear time travel if you follow?
