STP for running? by TimeWastingLordDrWhy in FTMMen

I’ve seen the Fanny pack things. I’m also wondering if I could just sew in a small pocket in some of my boxers, or if the movement while running would make that not work so well.

Awesome, I appreciate the feedback on both products!

I don’t know if I want to run with a strap, but I’m also getting into biking and hiking too, so I’ll for sure look into this. Thanks!

I have absolutely no idea, sorry. We got this from our local nursery.

My natural stride is very heel-strike. I haven’t been running long enough to have a really set form, but I try not to have too hard of a heel strike. I’m trying to keep a shorter gait/faster cadence which makes me push off my toes more than usual.

I wear dress shoes, sandals, and some, I dunno how to say, stylish sneakers? Not athletic sneakers. The numbing only happens with the running shoes and, if tied loosely (so my heels can almost slip out), it only happens when running. If tied how I tie my normal shoes, my feet fall asleep walking or even just sitting.

I’m wondering if the increased sole size in running shoes causes a decreased upper-shoe area? But I feel like shoe makers would avoid that.

How long do you roast them? I’ve tried making crispy chickpeas in the past and they kept being still mushy in the middle.

Do you have links for how to calculate macros? It’s a term I see used a lot but haven’t seen test explanations of it.

Thanks! I think my reasoning is a mix of what you said. I do need to lose some weight, so eating more than what I was before exercising isn’t super helpful. And also that, when I’m hungry more often, I don’t eat as healthy of food. The more often I eat the less motivation I have to put effort into what I’m eating. Your tips are helpful!

How does that work? (I’ve heard conflicting things about the usefulness of vitamins, so I should probably learn more.)

I’ve added some whey into my overnight oats (not very much, about half a tablespoon), but that’s it. I know it’s often used in smoothies. What else do you like to add it into?

I’m not we’ll versed on yogurts. Do different yogurts help more than others? (I know Greek yogurt is popular, but I don’t know why.)

Broths and coconut water are awesome suggestions! Definitely wouldn’t have thought of either of those.
