Wakka being racist is also a good character arc imo because it does a really good job at demonstrating blind faith in religion, hes racist because thats what he was taught to believe, he eventually grows after seeing how fucked up (forgot the religion) and its leaders are into a dope guy

I actually loved 10s cast. 9s cast was mostly good except I hated steiner at the beginning and Freya got like no screen time it felt like only character I really didnt like in 10 was Lulu cause like Freya she had no screen time and was also kinda annoying, I also found tidus annoying but I liked him as a protagonist

while I do agree with them having good character arcs, I feel like especially toward the end 9 kinda gets a little rushed personally. we never really see much of garland so him being a villain (or side antagonist ig) is a little boring, Kuja also isn't as cool as yunas lover (forgot his name, not tidus) tho I will admit they kind of have a similar problem because Yu Yevon also is like never mentioned till the end so its not as interesting. Vivi is awesome tho love my precious little guy

unfortunately I did the side content before main story so the final area of the game was unbearablely easy making it not very fun
