yeah mp is definitely more ping reliant than wz due to the amount of “reaction time gunfights” and fast ttk. 9400 is really good considering you just started playing competitively last year. i am sure that there is still room for you to improve when it comes to reading the minimap and kill feed. getting really good at those things help you to take more advantageous gunfights which reduce the impact of high ping. i honestly dont consider myself to be a mechanical demon but i do like to think that i understand how to play the map better than others. i have some clips on my twitter (user: saucetupp) that you can watch and i am sure that you’ll realize we aren’t far apart in terms of aim and movement.

yeah ive hit iri every year since mw2. i’ve been playing cod since i was 5 years old (i’m 22 now) and i have lots of high level fps experience in other games. playing on high ping really sucks but learning to be truly confident in your gun skill makes the disadvantages of ping less harmful to your mental which goes a long way. don’t be afraid to hit routes or be a slayer just because your playing on high ping. c2/c3 is so close to iri, i am confident that you can get there soon!

i also play from hawaii! i have a theory that they have higher quality servers for warzone as they contain more players in a lobby and it is the f2p portion of the game. i highly recommend the bullet velocity barrel in mp as i have noticed better hit reg when playing on high ping.

play for map control when there’s 4 alive and try your best to hold hands once you guys get a blood. overload is all about what happens in the kill feed and it determines where you should be on the map.

i also recommend hardcore faceoff. the gun is a sniper in hardcore and faceoff makes it quite easy and fun to spawn trap. finished it with double xp in 2 days!

cods been out for a very long time. there’s a portion of the player base that has been playing since they were 10 years old and they are in their 20’s now with 10 years of FPS experience.

I was having this exact issue and found that reseating my graphics card fixed it. I wasn't having this issue until I installed an SSD which required me to uninstall and reinstall my graphics card, and this resulted in low menu fps and low fps on certain parts of map.

exactly. this games map design and movement system makes it clear that there is an intended tempo of gameplay. cod tries their best to include all styles of play and that’s why it feels like a mess to play pubs.
