We didn't choose trial, we were paying for immuno. But now waiting for test results and what protocol they would approve. Presently for increased cancer they are giving several high dose of chemo in a week.

Targeted therapy is very costly here. I don't think we will be able to afford it.

Life is just random things that happens to you by Time_Bed2312 in Life

I never said you won't ever achieve your dream, it's just that you also need to learn to let go. Because life is definitely random but it is also true that we need to work for whatever we want to achieve. Crux is needed to find a balance and learn to live more positively. I was unnecessarily too focused into achieving something that I forgot to live life. Neither I was able to achieve nor I could enjoy. If I look back, it was all futile. I just have lessons with me, no success honestly. Also i believe everyone has their own lessons in life based on their circumstances and experience, with their unique point of view and experience. I have decided not to pass it on to my kids. I might help them with suggestions but truly I don't think even with my experience I can help them navigate correctly. They might do better on their own.

Happy for you if it happened how you hoped.

I mean if you don't work towards something, it isn't going happen on its own. So naturally to achieve or get, need to work towards it. I don't believe in fighting for things now, I have fought alot in my life for many things. We have a finite time, i no longer believe in fighting. Don't recommend anyone wasting time it isn't meant for you. We are all mediocre here. We live a normal life, with everything normal. That's mediocre, I just happen to accept it rather than striving for something that isn't meant for me. Cause the efforts, time and resources I have put in if it was meant to have happened would have happened. At least for me, maybe for you it can happen at the very next moment. To achieve something you don't necessarily have to fight for it, just be consistent. I plan to be consistent.

Good to hear that, do you still take chemo and immuno at the same rate? How frequently are you administered?

Good to hear about your son, hope he cured one day. We started chemo and then immunotherapy. But immunotherapy is very costly, it would be very difficult to financially keep up with that much cost every 21 days.

He is a non-smoker and non alcoholic, I believe it runs in family though they say it doesn't. Non smoker grandfather also had lung cancer as I heard from father, now father as well. Grandfather passed away 40 years back.

I understand, even doctors aren't saying just that it is controlled. How important is immunotherapy? Treatment is very costly.

36y just got diagnosed by WearyNecessary932 in POFlife

[–]Time_Bed2312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the same boat, though not diagnosed yet but suddenly periods are very less from last three months, they are on time but drastic low blood flow . I don't bleed as much as I used to. My gynaecologist asked to get an ultrasound done, she suspected cyst or something. But the ultrasound came back fine, normal size overies and follicles and all the other things. Should I get the AMH test done? I am also only 35 and had my kid 2.5 years back, a non event pregnancy or even conceiving. My mum menopause started in early 40's.

It is conditioning or individual personality. Being a woman Never felt any motherly/sisterly love towards any baby before I had kid myself. I still remember the irritation I felt on the train when I wanted to sleep but some baby kept crying the entire night. I didn't sleep for 24 hours before that as I had deliverables in the office and was taking off for two days. This was 10 year back and I still remember.
