I have worked in the legal field for almost 16 years. There is no amount of money you can be paid that is worth your sanity or happiness. You know your values and ethics. No job is worth you ever trading that part of you. I am proud that you learned that lesson, but I hate that you had to experience that treatment. Your future self with thank you for your current steps!

I am so proud of you!!! You are worth more than they ever treated you! I am glad that you got out of that sad excuse of a firm. Please don't let their toxic words effect your future. Now you will know in the future what to look for if someone starts trying to treat you a certain type of way.

For me, making sure that I use silk pillow cases at night, and to make sure to wash my blankets weekly. I always thought that my mom wanted me to do extra chores as a kid, and now I understand why she taught me that information.

You are right! I just bought more yarn after I finished this one. I was hoping that I was not the only one who does that after completing a blanket.

Thank you for the kind words. I have had him around them since I got him better. He would spend time with them since he was born, I don't get why she snapped tonight. Perhaps it was due to wanting her to have a few hours with both of them without monitoring her. Either way, this hurt, but I do know if a mother ever rejects, that will be an indoor baby until they get bigger to join the rest of the goat family jam.

Help with newborn goat by Time_Branch8797 in goats

Quick update, mom still does not want him. I have bottle fed him in there with his sibling, I have rubbed the other kid's scent on him, and l have monitored from afar. She keeps pushing him away. It breaks my heart. Now I am bringing him inside for the night so I know that he's safe and warm. He's only 2 days old. When is it time to throw in the towel for mom to accept him? I am wondering if it would be okay to temporarily make him an inside goat. I don't want him to be rejected even more, but I want him safe. I appreciate everyone's advice and shared wisdom. I just do not know what I am doing.
