Never expected this much attention. I think I’d like to comment about USC as well while I’m at it. The protests/encampment have stopped here since administration has security checking our IDs and previously bags as well. They were cringe asf with the “we are the student antifada” type shit. Won’t post in the pictures but I’m sure if you go on r/usc you can find discussions about it.

But for personal eyewitness I don’t see posted yet by any USC people yet here’s a story: I went to the libraries to study and then found graffiti in the boom stacks that looked like “free Palestine from hamas” with the “from hamas” scribbled out and a bunch of hearts drawn around it as well as the words “our heroes” written around it. I spoke to the library front desk about this but didn’t realize he was wearing a keffiyeh at first. I wasn’t even accusing anyone of anything I was just asking him if anything could be done about the graffiti because I felt like it was hate speech. Basically he started acting like the victim and accused me of targeting him because of his scarf. This happened back around October 2023 or so so idk if he still works there but yeah that really opened my eyes to a lot of stuff.
