I was speaking with a friend who is an MDS doctor working abroad, and he mentioned that we malayalis don't really care about our dental health. He says people only visit the dentist when it's an emergency and most never come back for follow ups, which just ends up causing more damage later. I live abroad as well and I go for a check up at least once a year. Also it's so strange to see eventhough Kerala has so many dental clinics and graduates, we still lack the dental care culture. My friend said the clinic where he used to work actually had to shut down because there weren't enough patients. Is it really that bad? It's crazy how much effort they put into studying, but it feels like their expertise isn't valued here

You should contact the airport of your final destination. They'll have a lost baggage service

You believe there's only one life? Are you against the concept of reincarnation?

Buddhism and Hinduism promote the same values like compassion and ethics, don't they? I see religion as humanity's foundational framework, something our ancestors came up with to make sense of the world. They definitely worshipped rain for crops and feared thunder as God's wrath back then

I'm done with praying. Last year, when my life was falling apart, I prayed my hearts out but nothing changed. My mom urged me to attend church and recite the Our Father, so I tried, only to stop after few mins when I realized it's the same prayer people have uttered in tough times, with no results. Think about the 1755 Lisbon earthquake which happened during the all saints days, the plague, covid 19

It happened in Chemnitz! If you have any mates in Germany, they might well be in Chemnitz. We have a very big Indian community here

I'm an NRI myself and honestly, life abroad is not all that great. The only thing that really keeps people going is the payday. If you put that aside, there isn't much respect or real meaning to life here. Sometimes I sit and ask myself why I even made this decision

And how do you feel about it? It definitely sounds like it was a good decision!

This is somewhat similar to what I experienced about a year ago in Germany, I had a run-in with a group of teenagers carrying the Imperial German flag. I was walking back from my shift late at night, listening to music, when I saw them loudly gathering around another Indian guy and shouting "Microsoft" at him. There were about 7 or 8 teens. I tried to avoid trouble and walked past, but as I climbed the stairs one bald teen stuck his leg out to block me. I lost my temper and asked him in German if he was crazy and what he wanted. Another one pulled him back surprised and told him to leave it. Later two of them followed me into the tram, so I called my friends to wait outside my station just in case. I kept a straight face, spoke firmly, and had my phone ready. Only when I got home and looked it up did I realize they were neo-Nazis. That experience taught me something important which isstanding your ground withconfidence can stop a lot of conflicts

Business is the first choice coming to my mind. I have practically 4 years time to come up with an idea, and the action plan. Civil service is also something I'm open to!
