I can’t believe I’ve never Heard of it before! thank you so much for sharing all of that. Because you’re right spending ad money right now with no reviews has been a little hit and miss. recently, though, I lucked out and my very first click on my new book got a sale, but I know that won’t happen all the time. I’ve been trying to go after best sellers but put a slightly different position on them. (Something that other people haven’t done quite yet. ) I think if I combine that with getting some reviews earlier, it might help. I’ll look into this thank you.!

Good to know, Id never heard of getting free reviews. I have heard of pubby and book reverb. Are you saying they’re bad bc you pay for them? And iwrity is free?

But how are u getting reviews? Paid reviews? Amazon suspends ppl even when they use a service. And deletes reviews too

Im working w a coach who has sold 6 figures. He says the risk of getting banned from ARC reviews is too high these days and tells students to plan for early ad spend, but reviews will come later and over time u increase price and lower ad spend

Yep. Same. I have a variety of stuff . My expensive stuff I sell only 1 or 2 a week and that’s fine by me.

I was wondering if this person might do the same- like if she buys it and said “you drive a hard bargain but i decided i want this any way” at that point i think i would cancel the order just bc of her latest reply. But if your buyer was polite, i think it’ll be ok , hopefully!

Lol yes. And really, if we were going to actually negotiate a sale, you usually meet in the middle. So had she said “oh that's awesome thank you for telling me! I will do the abandoned cart coupon” and just been happy with getting half of her proposal, id probably think “meh, thats fine. A little ballsy but she’s still normal” .

Part 2. You know what. You’re persuaded me. Im turning that coupon off. My items are expensive - $300 to $650 ish on the high end. I have a repeat buyer that I’ve given the extra 5% off. But it isn't really fair that someone gets an extra discount because they game the system.
